Course was playable, actually very good compared to other Muni tracks. One MAJOR problem with this facility is the noisy and ever-present groundskeepers. They are everywhere and apparently ignorant with regard to proper behavior on a golf course, or they just don't care.

This is this one of the better courses in Southern Cali. The course is in great condition and the greens were near perfect, but a lot slower than I expected. I haven't played on this course in a couple years and left wondering why I havent played here in a while. The only thing that made this experience bad was the group in front was behind 1/2 a hole to a hole the entire round and the marshall didnt do squat about it. We saw him once the entire round, and he didnt even do anything about the group in front of us even though it was painfully obvious how slow they were playing.

Greens are in great shape. The greens are not flat and can be tricky to putt especially when the greens are fast. The fairways are in nice shape. The rough is inconsistant in its length with only a few thin spots but overall not bad. The bunkers could be raked better but are other wise in good shape. For the money the course is well worth a play. P.S. Don't hit driver on #5 a 354 yard hole. Hit 210-230 yards just left of fairway bunker. Long left can be trouble and down the fairway long can leave you with a down hill lie.

Greens smooth, pace pretty good, fairways decent. Reasonable green fee w/ cart. Plenty long from the blue tees.

I've been playing the back nine early in the mornings lately but the entire course (and its sister course Mesa Linda) is great! From tee to green, the grounds are lush and well maintained. Greens are maybe the best for any public course in southern CA. Getting out early during the week, I'm able to get right on the back nine and play in less than 1-1/2 hours (usually by myself). The groundskeepers are very tuned in to people playing at that time and don't interfere with play. Playing on the weekend still plays slow, but is worth the money for the conditions and the layout. Definitely the best value around!

Course now in great condition. A little slow, up to 5 hours in the week. Greens fast and the fairways well watered. Great value.

Played on 3/24 & course in good shape especially for the price. Fairways had very few thin spots so ball sat up. Greens were pretty smooth. Pace good; 4.5 hrs on a weekday morning. Probably one of the best values in OC. Already booked a tee time for next week.
