We paid 36 to walk and finished in a little under 4:30. Seems a bit hefty for twilight but considering the minimal foot traffic totally worth it. I thought the fairway was immaculate... being a newbie.. I lost count of how many times I exclaimed "Wow! these fairways look just like the ones on TV! Hey! Am I on TV?!?! HI MOM!"

But in all seriousness, the greens are fast with tricky pin placement, I guess that's why I hate and love golf sometimes.. it's the Ike to my Tina.. even with all the mental effin.. I'm still back for more.

GC is always a gem. I wonder why I don't play here more often. To a beginner, the course can be perceived as a pushover. The greens have subtle undulations, the bunkers are strategic, and the wind will always cause a 2nd guessing of club selection..

You never see this course on golfnow or click4teetimes because they don't need to discount their course to get players. Just pay up...and enjoy.

Played today (3/9/2011) and will go back. A solid one hour drive out to this course, but well worth it. Great condition, fairways and greens in excellent shape. 4 hour round (8am weekday tee off) as play seemed to move quickly. Friendly staff. Downsides: I played from the blue tees today and really paid the price with my score. Also noticed there are not ball washers at every tee box. Greens are tricky - tough pin placements and while not "fast" per say, your ball just seems to keep rolling and rolling ....
18th hole is a bear, long and lots of water. Overall, a great time for a great price. Definite recommend.

Played early this morning. Course is in great shape as always. Greens rolling smooth and pretty quick, and as always the fairways were excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Had a 6:34 so it was a little frosty and cold but once the sun came out it was a nice day. This has to be the best around $30 to walk and always in great shape. My favorite

Played 2/27 and agree with mjquick it was really cold at first. we went out at 8:30 and all of the frost was gone but still cold for the first few holes. As always the course was in excellent shape. tee boxes level- fairways lush and the greens fast. If you have not played here treat yourself soon.

Cold, Cold, Cold! Had a 7:08 today and it was cold. We started on time on the back nine and I think we should have had a frost delay, but what do I know. We were walking and knocking ice off the bottem of our shoes for the first three or four holes. Now that said the course is in very good shape and played in under four hours. The best part, shot 77 with an eagle. I love this course and it's more then worth the drive from Pasadena.

Played 2-16-11 when it drizzled occasionally, had 10 mph winds and was a little sunny at times.

Played 2-16-11 when it drizzled occasionally, had 10 mph winds and was a little sunny at times.

Course conditions: Greens, fairways and tee boxes are by far the best in the IE right now. The rough is a little thin now, but that is to be expected being winter time. Bunkers are firm but playable.

Staff: As always, true professionals through and through, and as friendly as it gets.

Layout and location: This course has it all. Long and short par 4s, par 3s that are both fun and difficult at the same time and a couple reachable par 5s that punish you if you miss it in the wrong spot. All of this just off the 15 freeway in Mira Loma in a secluded spot with no homes to be seen!

Overall: Can't miss!
