Played 1-22 at my favorite course. The staff is friendly and helpful. This course has recovered very well from all of the rain. Tee boxes are level. Fairways have dried and are playing very nice. Never had a muddy lie. Greens are soft and holding well.
The only complaint is that the bunkers are somewhat wet and very firm. They could use some sand.
Pace of play was perfect. Foursome finished in 3hrs 50 min. Only had to wait on a couple of par 3’s but not more than a couple of minutes. I will be back again and again.

The flag placements were very tough, and holding the green was VERY hard. Great track, great conditions, and well worth it.

Played Goose Creek today as a walk on for $37 to walk. Only my second time ever playing this track, and was blown away by the course condition. This is probably one of the most well conditioned course in the IE imo. Played Diamond Bar and Mountain Meadows the previous 2 days for $25 to walk and was very muddy from the rain a couple of weeks ago. I'd rather travel a lil further to play Goose anytime.

Played here Monday. Still one of my favorite courses. Great condition.

What other posters are saying is true - best conditioned course throughout that I have played on this year. It has great shot values, variety and challenging green complexes that make it play much harder than the rating/slope on the card.

Lush throughout (consider the time of year) the lies in the fairways are perfect - tee boxes level and lush, rough is thick enough to make you think and, like the rest of the turf on this course, very healthy.

Greens are large, undulating and at times, full of subtle breaks. There are a lot of false fronts/edges and they are well-bunkered too, so course knowledge would help greatly in negotiating approach shots.

If I had a negative, it would be the sand - the one trap I was in was damp, hard-packed dirt and difficult to get the club under. Also, pace of play slow but nothing out of the ordinary for an 80 degree day in December.

Love this place - try it and you will see.

Why cant more golf courses be like the goose and charge a reasonable rate for a perfectly maintained and challenging course. Love the goose

Played in a tournament late Saturday morning 11/6, on a great day for golf. Started more than 30 minutes late for some reason as they were well behind. This is one of my favorites in SoCal and I always look forward to playing it. Course looked great and played great, except that most areas were a little overwet, making for some mud problems on the ball even in fairways. Shop said it was because they just came out of maintenance a couple weeks ago and they need to keep things moist. Greens were firm and quick and rolled great. Wind came up in the afternoon and made the back nine difficult. Late start and slow round made for a long day. Always recommended.

Played Sun 11/7. Went out at 8:30 and finished in 4:10. This is my favorite course and I was not disappointed today. Tee boxes level and lush. Fairways in perfect condition. Greens smooth and quick.The only thing that was off where the bunkers. They were wet and very firm. Guess I should stay out of them and it would'nt have been an issue. I will be back here again and again, soon. We need an outing here next year. This place is top notch.
