Wow!!! The Palms is back, great shape, fun, not too hard but gotta play it correctly, everything is back to normal, not perfect but a fun day of golf. Congrats to the staff . we will be back.

Played this course early yesterday morning. We finished in less than 4 hours. The greens are great - although they are not particularly fast, they roll true and receive approach shots well. The sand is the best I've played in the area. The course is short and fairly forgiving, but many of the greens are multi-tiered, so you have to hit good shots to score well. If you don't need a back-breaker of a challenge to enjoy your round, this is a very good course for the money.

After playing Lakes & lunch we replyed at Palms. Personally I liked more Lakes than Palms.#1.2 &3 greens really need to be cutted. Pace of play is one of the best advantage of this course.

Played the home course with my wife yesterday (Sunday). Started at 9:40 and played as a twosome the entire round. Very enjoyable pace--only waited on hole #2 for a couple minutes. The greens rolled really nicely--too bad they are punching them today and tomorrow. I believe hole #11 had some serious damage/ground under repair, but the rest of the course was in fair to good condition. The play all day package with lunch included is a great deal (see their website), although I would wait a couple weeks until the greens have a chance to come back. Played a 2nd round on Lakes and the greens were still sandy and shaggy--totally different putting conditions!

palms course and lakes course are similar. Only thing difference is the length. Lakes is a couple of hundred yards longer. Very easy off the tee. water is in play on many holes

Played 2/26 in my club's tournament. Course is very lush, fairways and green not cut due to all the bad weather and the rough is high. Lakes and streams very swollen making fairways smaller and trouble in even harder. Cart path only for now. Very late starting our tournament, and very slow round.

While not really fair to rate a course when undergoing repairs and upgrades felt this should be posted. We really like both Menifee courses,we like the new improved customer service attitudes,the old was good this is a step up. We like the layout and general feel or both courses,fun challenging and good times. Right now the Lakes is wet and soggy, the greens are punched and the rains washed away all the sand on the front nine so ya gotta putt thru holes, back nine was OK. The greens will be once again very nice when this is all done. Fairways are wet,wet,more wet, but they will also be in very nice shape when all the work is done. Tee boxes are another problem, some are great,some are domed so badly that they will need to be redone, I am sure they will address this soon. With all this we had a good time. Played lift and place, a very nice day. Problem is we heard they will not be doing discount cards for 2005. Too bad as we drive a long way to enjoy Menifee, but cant or wont without weekday discount. Nice place.
