Played today. Not to busy got in 18 holes in less than four hours. Fairways and tees in great shape. Rough ok. Greens are in pretty bad shape. Very bumpy with dead spots and spots where they have been mowed to closely scrapping the top of the green. Looks like they are try to mow to fast in the morning.

A few of the greens have a serious "fungus among-us" - and all of the greens were deadly slow. Too slow. Painfully slow. Over-watered in a few spots - and parts of the rough are as deep as a cabbage patch. Most fairways are in good shape - and although the greens look good - they are bumpy - and did I mention S-L-O-W ??

Still one of the premier tracks in So. Cal. The staff is top-notch and even the marshalls did their job today - stopping a bottleneck from becoming a choke-hold. Good work by these lads.

I think the Greenskeeper.org rating is currently a little inflated...more like a solid 7.0 - 7.2 is correct.

A great way to spend the day. Even with the bottleneck - still finished in 4.5 hours.

Played "The Rock" last week and loved it...Again. I may have played there as much as anyone and it NEVER gets old. So many vistas and different quality shots to hit. One of the best things they have in the clubhouse is nachos with the cheese sauce, just like the ballgame! It goes great with the Oak Quarry beer they have.

The greens are still a few eeks away from recovering from the recent punching. Otherwise I thought the course was in nice condition. Hard to be critical of this course as it's one of my favorites! Wish they would refill the lake on 10/11. would make the course better from both a visual and practical prespective. Great course to play when the wind isn't blowing, which seems to happen too often!

Played on 4/18 and was the first time. Interesting layout and beautiful course with the quarry in the background. Putts roll towards the quarry so take note. Course conditions were great so no complaints. Greens were a bit slower than expected but rolls were true. Pace of play appeared to be good but we had a very slow 4-some in front of us. But this had nothing to do with the club and more the ability of the players playing on the blue tees when they shouldn't have.

Would play here again.

Course is in great shape. They aerate 2 greens per week so that the course remains playable through the process.

Played on 3-28-07. This is the nicest looking course I've played in SoCal, and it's a steal at the discounted weekday rate through click4teetimes.com. The scenery is beautiful and the course is in perfect condition. It's hard but not unfair. Stay out the rough because it's thick!

GREAT COURSE, This course was fun to play and I really enjoyed it.. For some reason I get par's on all the hard holes and took dbl bogeys on the easier holes.. weird.. Pins today were on some very level areas, I had straight putts on almost every green. Greens was a lil slow but they will be aerating them this week some understandable.. First time I played here and will definitely play this track again.. I loved that signature par 3, hole on the back 9, hole 14 (195 yards) !!! What a post-card hole...
