Played on Thursday, July 29th in the morning. Finished in just a shade under 4.5 hours, no pressure from behind. We lucked out. There was good spacing between 4-somes because it was a weekday. Our tee-time was 7:32 and we hit the first balls at 7:35.

According to the starter, the greens had been "lightly sanded" the day before. Not exactly my definition of "light" - they were much too sandy for my personal tastes, but I've played on MUCH worse. Not to worry....I'm sure the greens will calm down in a few days. It's nice to know that the greenskeepers at The Quarry are staying on top of things....the greens here are not the smoothest or best you will see....but overall they are pretty nice.

The rest of the course is in fine shape. Worth the drive from anywhere. Great customer service.....like being a day-member at a country club.

Print out four coupons for your group and it saves you $60.00 (and that's not chump-change!!) .....with your savings you can buy a few extra beers at the 19th hole!! It can get pretty hot out there in the Summer!! It was just before Noon when we were coming up the 18th fairway.....and a cold-one was sounding pretty good by the end of the round!

Oak Quarry is one of the best courses I have every played. I belong to a private course that I love and Oak Quarry remains my favorite.

My group played Oak Quarry for the first time on Tuesday. The entire experience was great. The greens were a little on the slow side which I suspect is due to the heat (it was in the upper 90s). Our only complaint was the lack of any sand in any of the bunkers. Despite that one flaw, we had a great time.

Must Play this wonderful course. if you do not hit the ball straight you will need to bring plenty of balls. This course will reward you though for good shots. The greens are excellent and will challenge you. The most difficult part of this course though are the looks which can be very deceptive and will intice you into bad shots. If you play smart you can sirvive the black tees.

Played on 6/23/04. First time to this course. It has many beautiful holes. The traps are a little heavy and the fairways on the front nine needed to be cut. The greens were very good, but slower than they looked. It's a very interesting layout. It's great to play in the open spaces without houses, but the course still has a lot of tight holes. This is certainly worth the trip to Riverside. It's only 45 minutes from Irvine. You can get a $50 coupon from golfq.com.

Played 6/16. The course is in the best condition I've seen it since it opened. The greens are getting better as they mature. You can tell the roots are growing deeper. The ball holds better coming in these days. My only complaint about the course is the sand traps. They are rock hard only about an inch below the sand. They really need to take a look at fixing these. Even with the traps, the course is a great value and a lot of fun to play.

Great golf course to play and the panoramic veiw was great on some of the holes played. Its a fun course to play and enjoy with your playing partners. But one thing that needs attention is the sand traps, more sand put in and made puffy. Worth the money with discount on friday, saturday and sunday. The greens were hard to read at times, I like that. Will play it again.

Awsome golf course probably one of the best layouts I've played, and I've played quite a few. Very fair. Well worth the effort/drive. Will play again!!!!
