Overall, the course is in great shape except for some greens which had bare spots which made putting a crap shoot. Fairways were wide and in great shape. The rough wasn't too penalizing. I didn't have a problem with the dirt bunkers, but my partners were complaining about them the whole time. Nice easy layout compared to others.

Many of the holes on the back are tight…especially the par 4’s. It’s better to leave the driver in the bag. Some fun risk reward opportunities. Besides the greens the rest of the golf course is in great shape. New owners appear to be more focused. Looking forward to what’s to come at Castle Creek County Club.

This course has come alive with the new owners. They have put alot of money into this course and it shows. All you golf tourist,, come play Castle Creek, you will not be disapointed

Lots of shot variety, risk-reward, and three testy tight tree lined fairways, water and riverbeds to cross. Plenty of chances for pars, but playing smart is the key here. Driver is not the choice for every par 4 / 5 here. Coarse management key here, pay attention to tee off yardarges / club selection. Good greens, mature coarse and FUN.

great risk reward coarse, 3 tough holes on 10, 11, 12. Tree lined and tight, no time to be a hero if you end up left or right just play out safe and pars can still be made. Greens were a bit slow, have a spotty coin size fungus but they are curing that problem well. No need to pull driver on every par 4. controlled 180 -245 first shots and 7 to wedges on second shots will score well here.
