You can tell this course sees a lot of use. Lots of divots, bad tee boxes, lots of ball marks on the greens. There were a few roped off areas right in the middle of the fairways on a few holes, most noticable in #9. Tee Boxes were in BAD shape with divots, the worst I have ever seen on any course.

First time playing , Great course very challenging when the wind cranks up off the ocean around 1:00 turns it into a completly different course.

Riveridge continues to strive towards getting you out on time and keeping up pace of play which is great. Tough #4, #10 and #15 holes. Wind seems to always be a factor. Seems like fairways have been real dry lately-please water them. Overall pretty tough course from the back tees during the afternoon.

The starter/marshalls are friendly but the people (new) in the proshop are not as friendly as they used to be. Also, strangers have to share a cart ; no more than 2 carts per foursome. I checked in 20 minutes before my teetime and was told that I was lucky I didn't lose it.

Gorgeous day 1/28 in Oxnard, and RR Vineyard was a pleasure. The staff couldn't be more friendly, but marshals were out to keep pace of play moving. Tee boxes a little uneven and divoted, fairways overall fair, greens were not excessively fast at all. All in all just had a very enjoyable experience, as usual, at River Ridge.

Great Friday spent on this course. Layout is dynamic and challenging, but playable for all skill levels. You get a fantastic round for a reasonable price.

HMarino3, the pace of play marshalls are there for people like you who slow the game down to a crawl. Either learn how to play the game with a little speed or stay home and watch it on TV. Riverridge actually has less foursomes per hour than most courses to keep the pace of play up and the player enjoyment up as well. Stop looking for the beer cart and hit your ball.
