I hadn't played here in years but went out with my bro and sons. The course is in poor condition to say the least. They need to put a ton of water on it to get it back to decent shape. Dirt and dust everywhere, including the middle of the fairways and thin spots on the greens. The greens did look like they were recently punched but had not been cut in who knows how longs. Sandy, thick, thin, bumpy...all over the place. The tee boxes in some spots were OK, in others horrific. Some other tee box locations were no longer even cared for and full of gopher holes and dirt mounds. There were sprinklers on in 2 areas of the course. One, in the space between two fairways and the other in the far back corner where maintenance staff piles up tree branches and leaves...yet it seems no water is on the course from tee boxes to greens. It's sad because the course can be fun and is a bit of a challenge even if it is short. But the trade off is the cost. It only cost $15 to play and you must decide if the savings is worth it to you. If you just want to hit some balls, yes. If you are trying to learn the game then yes. If you want to have a full experience with nice views, fairways and greens, this is not it.

You may say " well" what is the difficulty. the greens are very small and in great shape and precision is very important, by missing left or of the hole will show on your score card. Come visit when ever you are in Ventura County, will leave the light on...

Played here today 9/29/19 at 6:45 am. Fairways were decent, there were some muddy spots but overall good condition. I think they just turned off the sprinklers since it's so early the ground haven't sucked up all the water. Greens were soft and were a little slow, again, because it was too early the dew from early morning hasn't dried up yet. Great deal still for $10 walking before 7AM and be done in about an hour and half so I can spend the rest of the day with the family, no complaints here.

Played today Saturday 10/20 with a tee time before noon. POP was around 2 1/2 hours to play 9. It was a little slow today as there was a group ahead playing a tournament. But it was not bad. It was very windy when we played. It was nice that on some holes your balls got extra distance for hitting downwind.

Overall the course is in decent shape. Tho' we noticed as we got to the course that parts of the fairways were painted a different color green than the fairways. My white glove had green streaks on it from holding my golf balls after playing with them. The fairways had fairly good coverage that you can still play on. Some of the areas in front of the tee boxes were looking a little dry, a little bare and a little thin. The tee boxes were ok.

The bunkers were a little hard packed and a little wet but you can still hit out of the bunkers. The greens were in really good condition. I can only remember that one green was in so-so shape. Greens were rolling a little fast.

This is an interesting 9 hole golf course. It is not flat. There's 3 par 3s, 1 or 2 par 5s and the rest were par 4s. Hole #7 had a severe dogleg with a palm tree in your way if you decide to cut the corner. There's a driving range here, a small chipping area, and a putting green. It's a great place to play and practice.

I played Saticoy Regional Golf course on October 1st with my buddies Carlos and Sherwin. Our tee time was at 6:30 AM. The Saticoy Regional Golf Course is a 9 hole only. The green keeper is doing a very nice job keeping the tee's, fair and greens in great shapes. If you want to play a quick 9 hole you have to visit the Saticoy Regional Golf course. It has 5 par 4's, 3 par 3's and one par 5. The greens are great shape and the ball rolls very nicely. The fair ways are been kept in great shape but they are very narrow. The tees are being worked and fixing them. The ones that are being done are good shape. The green keeper is remodeling and filling the sand bankers with sand. Customer services is great.

Overall I will rate this nine hole course 7.

Today, I had played an early round golf at the 9 hole Saticoy Regional Golf Course. We started our round at 7 AM and finished in 2 hours. We had no hoody in front of us. If you want to play a quick 9 hole round you should give Saticoy Regional a chance. The fair ways are in good conditions and the greens were rolling well. The rough is very short and easy to get to hit from. The sand traps have been re-done and have plenty of sand. The customer ser ice was great. You don't need to make Tee time. I scored Saticoy Regional Golf Course a 7.5.

This last Sunday I played the Saticoy Regional Golf Course with a 3 non GK members. If you want to practice your short game and Irons. You have to play the Saticoy Golf course. Our tee time was at 6:30 AM and finished by 9:15. The golf course has 4 par 4 holes, 1 par 5 and 3 par 3's holes. The greens are in good condition and they are not to slow. The fair ways are easy to hit from and the grass is in great conditions. The tees does need a little LTC and sand traps are in of sand. The customer service at Saticoy Regional Golf Course is excellent.

Today, I played a 9 hole round with six non GK's. If you want to practice your irons, short game and putting Saticoy Regional Golf Course is the place. We started at 7:00 and paid $8.00 dollars for 9 holes. The fair ways are very decent, tee's are in good shape, sand traps are OK, and greens are very good shape. For the prize it's a great course to practice your iron's and short game. Saticoy Regional Golf Course is only a nine 9 hole course. It only took us around 1 hr and 45 minutes to finish. If you want to play 9 more holes they only charge $7.00 for replay.

Played here this morning as a cheap and convenient "warm up" round. For that, Saticoy served its purpose. Otherwise, nothing too exciting to write about the course. OK 9-hole design, but good enough mix of hole lengths and designs made it good for practice. A few funky holes as the course seems kind of crammed in the small property, but for the price it is about what you would expect.

The greens were actually pretty nice. Lush and soft, but still pretty quick on putts with some subtle breaks that can be tricky to read. There did seem to be a lot of little bits of debris on the greens (grass clippings, bits of leaves, etc.), so bring your Dustbuster. Fairways pretty thin and burned out. Tee boxes all a bit off-kilter. You had to tee off on the far left or far right sides to have a flat lie. I was in one sand trap and it was actually surprisingly nice sand. Nothing spectacular, but softer and more playable than you'd expect here.

Service left something to be desired, but again you get what you pay for. I booked a 7:41 tee time through Golfnow as a single. When I showed up, there were a bunch of dudes all gathering by the first tee—apparently a large group of regulars who play here every Saturday morning at the same time (not sure why there were so many tee times available online still). The girl in the pro shop didn't really give me much direction, so I ended up having to wait until their whole group was out. Teed off at 8am as a single behind them all, but the last group of that pack asked me to join them after a few holes. We played as a fivesome the rest of the nine. That helped the pacing for me. Even with all that, it was about 2 hours for the 9 holes, so not horrible, just a bit chaotic and frustrating at the beginning.
