Wood Ranch Golf Club is such a fun track requiring shot making on every hole while at the same time never forcing you to leave your driver in the bag. The back nine is a true masterpiece highlighted by dramatic water features and gorgeous views. Holes 10, 13, 16 and 18 are unforgettable.

Wood Ranch Golf Club is also an outstanding private course to have an event at. Monday, 2/23 was my 12th outing here since 2021. With an outstanding golf course, exceptional playing conditions, great service and perfect staging area featuring a large driving range, two large practice putting greens, clubhouse and golf cart stagging all conveniently close together, it makes hosting any size event very easy.

Teed it up with fellow GKers, rgm2525, GDR23 and mark_6m on beautiful February day. Greens were smooth, firm and fast. They were an absolute pleasure to play. The fairways were still a little moist from heavy rains last week providing full coverage. The fairways are bermunda turf which goes dormant this time year, light green, tight lies and provided good roll out on drives. The rough was very lush, cut down to 2 to 4 inches defining the fairways very well. Bunkers were all in good condition, firm with fine texture beige colored sand. Tee boxes were all lush, level and cut tight.

Try not to ever miss an opportunity to play this private club. It was once hosted LPGA and Senior Tour events. It will test every aspect of your game. They have a unique membership offering that also includes close-by Sunset Hills CC I recommend anyone living in North LA or Ventura County to check-out.
