The course layout and design were as impressive as it played to it's good word of mouth admiration by everyone that had recommended this resort to me.

This course is laid out on the desert plains with great views of the surrounding rock mountains. Each fairways and rough are mostly wide open and are very generous, however, they are protected by dunes of local grounds as its hazard. There are a few holes like the #10 with water in play, and oh, what a beautiful holes were they. Some of the most subtle but facetious Pete Dye holes are revealed here to test and challenge your skills and it is tempting if you know what I mean. Absolutely a course you'll want to play over and over again.

The course plays very well and fun and true to its word about what you read and heard in its resort ad as well as the many people who had recommended it to me. It leaves me hands down with one of the highest recommendation I would issue. It is an experience and a great one.

The current conditions are back from its aeration the first week of April. The greens played to a slow stimp speed of about 8 or could be 7. The bunkers had great quality sand and yes they have sand in them. The fairways, ran and the teeing grounds were in good condition and were virtually level.

Weather that day was slightly breezy in the beginning (7:39 tee time). By 11:20am or so, we experienced some Spring Time High Desert Winds. Luckily it was our last two holes when came in. Check your weather forecast here.

Played here on 4/24 in morning. Course is in great shape with everything near perfect. Greens are good receiving shots well. They do show some signs of recent aeration but roll fine. Fairways are in great shape as well as rough. The best part of the course is the well maintained bunkers!! Finally a Las Vegas course that has sand and maintains it thank you for that. Customer service is always good here. The day we played was very unusual in that the wind came and went it seems on every other hole like a light switch until 16 and then it blew so hard I am glad we teed it up early. 17 and 18 were near unplayable with the gusts that were blowing. Golfers when we left were just eating lunch and passing on golf. Clubhouse is probably one of the best in town as well. A course that will not let you down worth the price I believe. Fun layout but playable try to play early to avoid the brutal afternoon winds!!!

Played this a few weeks ago with Bggpoppa. This was an excellent course and great choice to play when in vegas. It's not too far away, but it's away from everything, even the freeway. Excellent customer service and they got us out very quickly. Teeboxes were excellent even and lush. Fairways were awesome! Green and short. Sand was soft... greens were in excellent shape! You have to have the right speed or you'll be chipping back into the green on your next shot. Pace of play was great. Got to play some of the wolf course after. Wind started to pick up at that time. Overall, for the cost, this was a steal in Vegas!

Played in shotgun tournament on 2/29. Course was in great shape and pace of play for tournament was great. Great layout with many risk and reward par 4's. Customer service was excellent. Tournament was well organized and for the price of 58 dollars with an excellent buffet and 2 hour open bar with great prizes an outright steal. They gave away memberships and 3 premium golf clubs for closest to the pin and long drive. If you ever see one of their shotgun tournaments do not hesitate, it was one of the best I have ever played in period!!!!!

I'm serious they take real good care of this course.. Plenty of water around the course, and in this part of the desert the wind can really howl.. Fortunately it was only around 12-18mph.. As the previous posts stated the greens are awesome but they are definitely FAST!! If you can't check the ball your are not going to hold many greens.. From the tips it makes the course that much more challenging.. Definitely worth the green fee!!

My threesome played Paiute Snow 3 days in a row,19 20 21 Nov 07. They give you 10% off day 2 and 20% off day 3. Course was in good shape and was a very nice course - very windy on day 2 par 5's became par 7's into the wind. Greens lightning fast- downhill putts were 3 putts. I think the ball accelerated uphill as well! NO HOUSES around course -a great feature. Very nice clubhouse but basic washroom facilities. Food and beverage prices a bit high. Decent value for money otherwise.
