This was my first warm-up round on the Vegas GK Plays trip, joined by GK'er Eaglee. Best option since we didn't have too much time in the morning before TPC, it was close by, it was affordable ($37 for 7:04 tee time), and it was a course I hadn't played yet! Not busy at all when we arrived, so we teed off a little early. We caught up to the dawn patrol groups after a few holes and it slowed down after that, but we still finished in about 2.5 hours.

The course was in excellent post-overseed shape, looking pretty lush and green from edge to edge. Tee boxes maybe a little fluffy, but nice grass coverage. Fairways nice. Rough not very deep or penal at all, but also very consistent coverage. Greens were soft and rolling on the slow side, but the surfaces were generally well-kept. I wasn't in a bunker, but they looked very compacted and wet. Glad I was able to avoid them!

This is a fun little executive course (par-58 with three short par-4s and a great mix of par-3 lengths). Similar appeal as Desert Willow across town, though I'd rank that course just ahead of this one on my Vegas short course list. Pretty open and forgiving outside of holes 9-10 (around a big water hazard), so it's a great place to learn the game or get some iron/wedge practice in. As a short course, I would easily recommend Durango Hills.
