Played 5/3/18 8:20 4.5 hrs Sr. NCGA qualifier. Weather conditions good. delta breeze stayed on and was cloudy cool (54-64) with 7-10mph breeze. Sun came out last 4 holes. See last review for a horrible weather review.

Course conditions good overall. Good spring grass growth level tee boxes. Greens 95% healed from spring aeration held well but putted a bit slow. Was advised of this the day before when I practiced on the great range and practice facility. Practice green consistent with the courses. Bunker area to practice too. I should have used as I found the green-side bunkers too deep and thick and left a few in for another whack instead on on the putting surface (poa annua)

Cart was $17 extra so I opted for $25 to use the golf board for the first time. You have to watch a video and sign wavier which can be done online beforehand. Which I did and didn't have the email on my phone to verify so the staff let me use the computer there to log on and show them.

Golf Board review;
The good you are by yourself and can get to your own ball quickly. On the cart path between holes it is a little slower than the carts can travel. At Poppy Ridge if you don't have motorized lift between holes it can be a hike uphill many times to the next tee box. The first time I turned off the cart path to go down a slope it felt like I was skiing and glad I was square to the hill and balanced. You have to lean into the turns to steer the wheels are fixed turns require leaning to the side you want to turn, like a skate board.

You stand up all day and use your core for balance and stability. More effort required than sitting it the cart seat. I did not notice any more fatigue than using a cart and was less taxing than walking and pulling a wheeled cart.

Overall I'd rate the golf-board good and with practice maybe preferable in most conditions to the two person cart. Had a cooler on the back. I'd use that for water and Gatorade not beer the first time you ride it. IMO pricing should be the same as shared cart not higher.
