Being from California and getting to play Blackstone is a complete treat. If this course was located in CA, it would be slammed. Great typography, layout, design and conditions. Staff is so nice and caring, food is great. I just can't believe this hidden jewel in the panhandle of Florida of all places. Teed off at 12:20 on Sunday and played 36 holes in 5 hours as a twosome, would have played more but just not used to the humidity. Trust me please, it is a must play when heading to the Destin Beach area.

Had a great time playing the course, 30% discount using my Golf Card. Paul the Head Golf Professional is a class act, really knows his business. Since Troon has taken over, I must say that the course conditions, outside service and personnel has improved drastically.

Teed off at 6:30 and was finished at 9:15 as a twosome, perfect weather. I must say the greens were awesome, bunkers real good, yet the rest of the course (declined in quality)compared to the old days. Fairways ok, rough - real patchy with weeds and crabgrass. Food and service in grill room fantastic, welcome in pro shop did not give me the feeling of really being welcomed.

So this was my last of four courses. Of course used my Golf Card and like the others received a awesome discount. I personally love playing this course due to knowing Jack's courses and to replay his favorite 18 holes is a blast. In fact I purposely hit into the black sand trap, just for the experience. Inside and outside staff are incredible, it seems like most Vegas courses really get the hospitality aspect of what a customer wants, unlike many in So Cal. Playing conditions were great and it is one I must recommend. Jose, the 1st assistant is just a gentleman and so helpful. Way to go Bears Best

This is my favorite course in Vegas. I understand it is pricey, but you pay just a tad more to go first cabin. I used my Golf Card, called them, identified myself as a Golf Card Member and they gave me a price of $100 on Friday morning prime time. It is so good, I mean everything, playing conditions, food, beverage cart service, bunkers, fairways, rough and the greens roll like shaved velvet. Just love Cascata....

Went on a quick 2 day 72 hole benge in Vegas, played 4 courses (Rio, Cascata, Bears Best and Badlands) with my Golf Card and got even better discounts that posted due to summer time. (all I did was call them and told them I was a Golf Card member and showed them my card when I got there) Rio Secco was awesome, shot makers course with all the country club playing conditions. Incredible personal service from every employee, best beverage cart service I have ever experienced. I love the bunker sand, it is a tad bit heavier than So Cal, but your clubs slide thru it like butter. Greens held every shot, rolled medium fast, fairways are lush, rough is perfect, this is a must play. BTW - played the course with one ball, when I finished I went and toured the Butch Harmon Golf School - WOW

Played yesterday with old friends and had a blast. Course conditions not the best I have seen Goose Creek. Greens (4 weeks ago) punched and still not the GC normal great roll. Fairways good, but not the great GC as I knew. Bunkers has grass popping up in many.

Even with that said, still better than it's surrounding competitor courses. Great range and staff. It still has some great holes on that course, a pleasure to play, great pricing, and you can walk....

We all have known for a long time River View has been voted the OC best value golf course. It is a little hidden jewel. Just because it is affordable, doesn't mean you should skip playing here. Greens are small but a lush, fairways and course just over seeded and looks awesome, plays great. Great owner, friendly staff and don't pass up the cheeseburger.

We had a great time, joined the club in fact. The greens are fantastic, the customer service is polite and professional. Our round on the south was completed in exactly 4 hours. Easy to see why they were named the California Golf Course of the Year.

Pasatiempo has been in my top ten courses nationwide for over 20 years. It seems to get better and better, even though it is absolutely incredible. Scott Hoyt, the GM runs a great shop and program. Pasa should be on everyone's bucket list.

Been a while. Iain Sturge the Superintendent is a magician keeping the course this decent with no budget. Views are always magnificent, pace of play was fine, miss the GPS in the carts (that is a real need) when playing a course with 600 feet elevation change. Bunkers still need a bunch of sand, driving range is just a warm up but decent, practice putting green is always awesome. Did not recognize one person in the pro-shop or grill room, place needs some excitement, but overall it is still a good golf course worth the price.

Always a pleasure to play Red Hawk. Outside services is great, Gina the Head Golf Professional runs a great program. Being a past location for PGA Tour qualifying, you know you will get a challenge and great layout. Food is awesome (chicken tacos) and I love #18 the reachable par 5. All golfers need to take the drive and play Red Hawk annually.
