Wanted to try a new course out of town, but within a budget. This course is good value for the money. Pace was slow - over 5 hours to finish. Sand traps were hard at times. Some roughs were muddy or even bare. Work was being done to three of the tee boxes, moving them far forward (even in front of the forward tees).

Great looking course. My game could have been better though. Some of the fairways were a little beat up (divots that weren't fixed) They must have had a tournament or something the day before.
Greens were great, tee boxes were kept up. Service was okay.

Where were the marshalls? I even waved at one on the 10th to get his attention - he looked and went the other way. The marshalls really should have monitored the pace. The group in front of us was a group of four that held two groups up at every hole since the 4th. They really should have been playing from the whites, if not reds.
Other than the pace and lack of marshalls, very nice/scenic course. Greens were super slow in the morning, from the heavy clouds and drizzle, but dryed up by the later part of the day. Some tee boxes were beat up, because it can't dry up (from trees blocking the sun). The greens stayed soft all day though.
Cafe/Food staff were very friendly, along with the lady on the food cart.
I would play again, hopefully playing through a little quicker next time.

Narrow fairways. Lots of elevation changes.

1st off - For the construciton going on around the course, I think the rates should be reduced. In order to play 18 holes, I was instructed to play holes 5-18 and replay 15-18.

2nd - Customer service in the Pro Shop - Thumbs Down. Guy at register was more concerned with the call on his cell phone, than the customer that is standing in front of him. Shurgs me off, while blurbing in-coherent words to his cell phone. I'd rather him just finish what he was doing, then tend to the customers. The Cafe personnel were friendly. The starter.... eh...

All in all, I would probably wait for the construction to finish (or at least clean up the one hole that has a BIG patch blocked off for construction in the middle of the FAIRWAY - you either have to drive past it or lay up before it). I MAY consider going before then if the rates drop.
