Having to be in the area later in the AM, decided to play here. Thought I would use Weber's definition: "it's inexpensive basic golf, which sometimes is all I'm looking for." I looked on the site last... Continue »

A nice fade will work perfect on this par 3 hole. if you go straight left you are in a lot of trouble. play it short if you are unable to hit the green (inexperienced golfers) that way you can two putt for par for try to birdie this fairly easy hole.

The only real dogleg on the course, consider a club that will get you long but straight—maybe three wood down to 3 or 4 iron. The positioning you want for your second shot makes this a tighter driving hole than it appears. You want your tee shot on the right half of the fairway for the best angle. A slice through the trees puts you OB on the school grounds and dead. Left side of the fairway or rough and you are going to be blocked from cutting the corner on your second shot because of the trees unless you manage to hit it passed the bend in the dogleg. Long and right in the fairway and you might have a shot at the green. Short and right, a good angle for a layup and short approach. A conservative first shot leaves you more options to make par and possible birdie.
