Back here on Saturday 3/23 with a noon tee time. Course was fairly empty considering it rained all morning but cleared up nicely by tee time. Unfortunately the rain caused the range to close so no warm up. They do have a little chipping area near the first tee at least. Even with the rain that morning, the course dried nicely and was easy to walk. Pace was surprisingly very good all day. In fact, our threesome was behind a foursome and we were on them all day but if we'd gone first we probably would have finished in 3.5. Still, getting around in 4 was a treat. Like I said in my last review, I really like this course. It's not a difficult course but on a day that's windy the longish par 4s become very difficult when the breeze is blowing 15-20 directly into. Very small greens so it becomes a real GIR test. Overall conditions are very good, with good tee and fairway coverage, and some rough that's cut down and not very penal. Unfortunately I didn't get the aeration notice so the greens are still very bumpy but other than that it was a fun round. Didn't get into any bunkers but they did look like jail with hard or minimal sand/dirt. So avoid those. Definitely recommend once the greens heal up, though I would expect the usual jammed up tee sheet when that happens.
