ya gotta know right off this isnt my favorite place to play, friends wanted to do the Babe, so, I get them on, all conditions were great, greens are almost perfect,fairways are lush, everything is very nice,,one of my guests had his first hole in one on 13,, great day, but, it still isnt one of my favorite tracks. maybe one day I will have a good scoring day and all this will change. What a classic course! The greens roll true and have very few bad spots. Lush fairways and average rough. Very tight course surrounded by trees. Keep your tee shots in the fairway and you can score well here. The only negatives were the pace of play, no marshalls, and distances are not marked very well. Worth every penny in my opinion.

Played Friday 4/9 and the course was in terrific condition but the greens were much, much slower than normal. I suppose since they are being punched soon they have let them grow a bit to long. Overall the track was wonderful, the weather was nice and the play was never slowed (we finished in about 4 1/2 hours). I have always loved both the Babe and the Ike over the years and this day was not a disappointment.

Question: Does the Finicular(?) ever run during the week?? I have been there numerous times in the past 10 years and NEVER has it been running!

The babe was in really good condition yesterday. Kind of a drag with the cart path only rule. Talked to the guys in the shop and they said it will be cart path only on both courses until April. I think Zahairas is the more difficult of the two Industry Hills golf courses. Ike may be longer but no way as tight off the tee. Either way you can’t go wrong picking between the two. Bring your straight shots and putting touch or it will be a long day on the babe.

Considering all of the hype, I really wasn't "stunned" by the course.
"Ike" was closed, so that caused there to be a lot more golfers out on the course. That made for a 5+ hour round as we were sandwiched by golfers zigzaging their shots across the fairways. We had at least one group waiting on every tee through the first 11 holes (3 groups waiting on #7).
The course layout and design is a good test as you have various targets in the fairway to aim your tee shot. Varied hole lengths and small greens give the course a very distinctive feel. The greens putted fast and were undulating enough to provide real challenges. Most pin positions were in the corners of the green, which made approaches to the green something to handle with care.
The weekday rate would be acceptable for the weekend as I consider the course to be valued in the $50 range. Upgrades would be in order for the starter/marshall (spread out groups), on the course food service carts (looked like they used box tops to hold items), better protection/screening for tee boxes near greens. I would definitely like to play it again and I would hope for a better experience.

One of the toughest course I have ever played, so bring your A game. Great condition except a few tee box is a little bald.

Played 8/7, refilled the sand divot fixer about 4 times as lazy folks refuse to repair divots properly,confused with comments below, how would divots get repaired if not for sand with seed thrown in by us, the folks that caused the divot, you think they should resod the place weekly??? once again this is a very good test of golf in a very nice enviorment, a wonderful getaway.worth the $$$ .
