Should have mentioned in my review, Penmar has no driving range. There are a few ratty stalls in the lesson area at the west end of the parking lot where you can hit into net. There is also a chipping green back there that used to be decent, but when I was there the other day, it was in terrible sha...

If you pull it too far left, there is more trouble, including OB short on that side, but the left half of the fairway is the best position for the second shot for every pin placement. Center/right fairway is OK, but if the pin is back, and particularly back right, you have a small target to the back cornar of the green with the right front rough and trap threatening your line. From right fairway, play to the fat of the green and use your putts for par.

Pretty straight forward, the long green is deeper than it looks head-on. Add/subtract 10 yards to the yardage depending on the flag position.
