Course is in horrible shape. It is almost impossible to find your ball if you are off of the fairway. Lots and lots of water everywhere because it does not drain well. They are letting carts on the course which is causing more of a mess and damage. I did find out that my shoes are waterproof as I sloshed thru 18 holes.

Anyone with me in saying good riddance to the heavy rains?! I'm jonesing to play, but don't want to slosh my way through 18. Really looking forward to the benefits of the rain, though!

Not bad for what it is; short local course. Greens were actually in pretty good shape. Only problem was they moved most of the back tees to same place as forward so it played really short. Good for my score if nothing else. 1st time I reached par 5 18th green in 2 but missed my eagle putt.

Played Sunday after the rains. Played a little over 4 hours. Nothing that hasn't been posted before. Aerating the 18 hole. The rest of the course will be aerated starting Monday.

Played there for first time last Saturday, 8/7. Conditions were decent tee-to-green for an OC muni. I was impressed by the layout of the course: several nice elevation changes (again, for an OC muni) and several interesting short par 4's that challenge your course management skills. Staff was extremely nice as well.

Main gripe was S-L-O-W pace of play. Teed off at 8:45am as a foursome and took 5 hours 20 minutes to finish. Also, group of yahoos behind us hit into us several times even after confronting them face-to-face, and despite the fact that we waited every shot for the group in front of us. Still, I don't blame this on the course (although a marshall could have addressed this) and I will definitely be back.
