Course in fair shape. Fairways pretty good as are greens. Rough long in some spots and bare in others. Pace a little slow at just under 5 hours. For some reason it is always 3 deep at the par 3 7th but there is never a marshall there to speed up play.

This course was in great shape and the pace of play for a muni. was super 3:45 with a 8:00AM tee time on Friday

I hadn't played here in five years, and was pleased at the general condition of the course. Decent greens and fairways, etc. Since I last played they have re-routed the course. (Old #1 is now #3, which is good because 435yd 4-par was a tough way to start. Too bad they couldn't figure out a way to get this track over 6000 yards and make it "regulation".

Short course that may frustrate impatient big hitters. The course has four sub-300yd par 4s, none of which are very prudent to go for the green. I can't remember ever going 8-iron, then pitching wedge on a par 4, but I did it three times on Sunday. The course is a little longer on the back side. The greens are pretty small on the front side, and just covered with pine needles from the trees nearby, making it nearly impossible to get a smooth putt. They also played extremely slow in the morning, barely getting to a medium speed as the afternoon set in. The fairways and rough aren't in the greatest shape. The bunkers seemed to have a lot of sand, and some of them had deep faces. For the most part the course is flat and walkable. The round was pretty slow with all the fivesomes out there. One good thing was that the beverage cart made its way around quite a bit, plus you can go to the snack shop after the 6th hole as well as the 9th hole. Seems like it would be a good course for a beginning golfer.

Played on July 4th. Crazy as it seems it wasn't crowded at all EXCEPT for the foursome in front of us. The annoying part was that there was no marshall in sight to speed them up. The tee boxes were too lush and you could barely tell the difference between the fairway and the rough. The course has a good layout and is fun to play.

Tricky & small greens make difficult to have low score when you get the scorecard 5.000+some more yards seems to be easy.Played sat,7/3/04 2;12 p.m. good pace.But boring course to pay full green fee of $50.00,only with discount or when you can't get tee time at other courses.

Course in very good shape. My only complaint was that the fairway grass with a little long. Started at 7:20 , finished at 11:20. Worth $50 to play in 4 hours.

Played 5/26 after avoiding the course for quite a while and it was in surprisingly good condition even though the greens were still bumpy from aeration. Even better it was not backed & slow like it used to be though the par 3 at#7 always is backed up. For a short course it always seem to score a little higher than you think it should. They also fixed up the range with some short pins but they did make it all mats. For the $12 deal I had I will certainly give it another try.

Nothing really special. Firm greens and heavy rough can make wayward shots challenging. Bunkers actually had decent coverage but the maintenance staff seems to water down the sand. A little overpriced but beautiful weather makes for a nice golf day.
