Played last week and the course seemes better than a few months ago. Greens are a little slow but a guy I played with said they are much smoother than they have been. Lots of tee times are on the american golf website and you can get a good deal if you are willing to make your time online. I will try playing here before work because they have a special for the back nine early in the morning that is only $25 with a cart and a burrito. i also heard that there is some new management at the course.

I play here once in a while because I pay American Golf lots of money every month, so I can play their courses cheap. It's 5 minutes from my office, so I can play hooky quick. This is the typical American Golf municipal property. They don't make enough money to really invest in the course, so you'll notice what happens when you have half the workers you need and half the seed/water you need. Dried fairways, sketchy traps, pockmarked greens, and muni-style 5-hr golf.
Never pay rack rate here...never. Find a coupon.

The pace of play was good, only had to wait at a couple of tee boxes. For the price one can find a better course not too far away.

I REALLY like this course! I play "Rancho" more often then anywhere else as the course is less than 10 minutes from my home. It gets some pretty heavy play but the groundkeepers do a servicable job... Continue »

I REALLY like this course! I play "Rancho" more often then anywhere else as the course is less than 10 minutes from my home. It gets some pretty heavy play but the groundkeepers do a servicable job keeping the course in playable shape. Outside of the occasional serious divot in the fairways on on the tee box, the maintenance of the course should be applauded. They modifed the green on the 2nd hole a few years back and made it more "player friendly." I miss the challenge of trying to make a putt on the (now removed) undulating surface. The back nine looks and plays completely different from the front nine, and water comes into play on a few holes on both the front and the back. The street to the right of three and four can easily cost you a couple of balls if you hit a serious fade or worse yet if you slice! I think any level of golfer would find this a really fun course to play and it won't cost you an arm and a leg in greens fees to find out!

It was over a year ago that I last played here and after today, it will be at least that long before I think about coming back.

foursome in front of us, played from white, black and blue tees...thanks for being so considerate. teeboxes nice, fairways horrible, greens 1/2 aerated. oh well, $20.00 to walk, but won't be back.

Enjoyed playing last week and pleased with the condition of the course. Fairways a little bare in places but the greens fast and in good condition. I'll be back.
