Played Sat 11/30 ~8:30 am. Greens are coming off the maintenance okay. Some bumpy but overall good. I guess they are letting the rough grow. It is long and very penal. Sands are somewhat inconsistent. Fairways were okay. Teeboxes are however very long and there were barespots. Looked like they were still working on getting the teeboxes back to shape.

Pace of play was 4.5 hrs, which is excellent for Sat morning for TC. Course was not crowded. Maybe people are waiting out until course condition gets better. Service was nice as always.

to start off with I love the layout, staff, food, facility. I am also aware that they are about 30 days remove from major reseeding project. So this is more of a know before you go rather then a critical commentary of the place.

Played yesterday. Place was full but managed an early tee time. To my dismay the Blue tees usually 6500 yards were placed forward not one tee box ( white but 2 tee boxes to green). It was clear that on the first 7 holes there was no mowing of fairway in some time. Very shaggy. Greens were bumpy through 4. Rough however was 3-5 inches around and penal. very consistent too. I managed to get into 3 fairway traps and they were all different., from having little to no sand to having the sand rise up over my shoes as I entered the trap.

Now the pace of play was 4:15 which is great here. after 7 greens and fairways were close to normal. Maybe we were just too early for the lawn mowers on the front side? who knows. But the bottom line is we enjoyed ourselves and would go back.

Greens however were actually rolling nicely, not too bad, maybe another week or two and they'll be very good. Very green and lush. No longer cart path only. I have another tee time in 2 weeks, hoping it will be great at that time. Still love the layout. POP was horrendous at a little under 3 hours for the front 9, Sunday afternoon I guess its expected.

Due to over seed they're still keeping fairways long and rough brutal at T- Creek. Nothing has change since my idol, Weber, posted his review last week. Unless you want to play CPO and search several minutes for every ball (even in the middle of the fairway), wait until they allow carts back and mowers do their thing. Buyer beware.

Otherwise, the greens are TC slow and fuzzy, bunkers are damp and rocky. Just not in players shape right now, but it will be a nice course during the fall and winter months. Not recommended at this time.

Played first off Monday as part of the promotion I purchased which included two rounds (Played last Monday as well) The greens, while improved, still have a couple weeks to go before they will be decent. Last week when I played the fairways were "shaggy" but OK, well the overseeding is in full bloom and the new grass is growing and they are watering the heck out of it. The fairways are soaked! No Roll at all. Course plays really long and its like hitting out of the rough while in the midle of the fairways. Some areas of the rough are U S Open deep.

Carts still on the part, so my recommendation is to allow a few weeks to pass and let the course heal. Otherwise it will be a long trek with lots of extra walking.

Played Monday on a special sent to me by the course. I knew going in that the course has recently been overseeded and the greens punched, so my expectations were not great. That said, it was actually better than expected. HOWEVER, it was NOT good. Greens still very slow and bumpy and the fairways are soft and soaked. (casual water in areas)

I would prefer not to be critical, suggest you wait until everything settled down and the course is back to normal. Only played it because of the special deal sent over the internet

Played "Tijeras Creek" yesterday. Was absolutely Not worth the Sunday Rate. Course is in Terrible Condition. Greens are tremendously bumpy, seems like the Course is letting the fairways dry out because there were many numerous dry spots throughout the Course with more than a few bunkers without Sand (hardpan) Bunkers. It was "belly the ball" time. I couldn't believe the price of their range balls, $12 bucks for a large bucket of Un-cleaned/Muddy range balls, there Washing ball machine must of been out of Service. Service sucked, seemed like the kids in front working the reception area for Customers were more interested in "Tips" than Customer Satisfaction. I know this Course isn't like this all the time but for me and my group, its was yesterday. This Course is better known for its outstanding conditions but never the less, yesterday for me and our group of 25 players this Course was a disappointment.
Remember that "First impressions is a lasting impression".

Played on Tuesday 10/8. The course is OK - not great, not bad. The layout seems kind of constricted in many spots, but it generally offers holes that don't look alike and there are a few that are really nice.

Greens were fairly bumpy and medium speed, but puts held their line reasonably well. The bunkers were inconsistent - one I was in was a skiff of sand over clay, one was a heavy mix of dirt & sand, and one was just right with good sand. Fairways were in good shape and gave a nice lie. The rough had a lot of bare patches interspersed with grass tufts.

Pace of play was pretty poor, especially considering it was a weekday. Overall the round was 5:30, with almost 3 hours just for the front nine. We never saw a marshal on the course and couldn't see any particular offending group ahead of us - it just seemed very slow.

Out early Sat. to beat the heat but humidity this early can be a bear ... not a walking course, at least not the back nine. Course in very good condition overall: greens holding everything and rolling true (some pock marks on several greens from poor attempts of repair); fairways full with a few thin areas; rough lush in most areas; and, bunkers that I visited were decently filled and groomed. Always good customer service, a nice place to play and hang out. Recommended.
