We had the second tee time this morning and finished in 3.5 hours and that was without hurrying. Course is in very nice shape, in my opinion, even though we had to contend with "June Gloom" conditions, that kept things wetter than normal. But that said, the fairways still had good roll and you could go directly at the pins. The staff and marshals were great. We had one of the regular marshals playing with us and that helped tremendously being this was our first time playing TC. I concur with what others have said about the front and back 9's. Both 9's are extremely nice and I especially liked the Par 3's (all of them). The front is challenging for sure, but you face a different 9 when going to the back. Really a well thought out design and use of the land. Many of the greens are elevated and one does not see the true elevation, until you reach the green. Not a bad feature, just something to keep in mind, should you play the course for the first time. We will for sure be going back to play TC and see what it provides when it is dry and fast. If you are looking for a nice place to play, that offers a challenge and unique layout, this should go on your list of places to play.

Played 7/11 with a group of 10. We paid only $45.00 included cart and range balls, normally it would be $55.00 for seniors. Customer service good. I had been told 2 weeks ago that the course was in great shape. It must have peaked. The tee boxes on the par 3’s were pretty beat up or were closed to allow the grass to grow back. The other tee boxes were fine. The fairways were great except where they had been over watered. We teed off at 6:30 so the watering had just stopped. The greens had considerable ball marking but were smooth and receptive, a little slow but that I think was again due to the early hour and having just been watered. Pace of play was great. Our first 3 some finished in 3.5 hours. I was in the second 3some and we finished in a little less than 4, but we fooled around and practiced putts and chips after finishing on some holes. The group behind us was nowhere to be seen. Great layout. If you have never played here the 2 nines look as though they are from 2 completely different courses. The front 9 wanders through houses and condos. The back 9 is all California costal scrub. This is really a fun and challenging golf course

Been a while since I was able to visit The Creek. Conditions were fantastic other than the micro punching going on the greens. A bit slow for my taste but it is what it is. Should be just fine in a week or so. Can't beat the $1.50 bean burrito at the turn, although my playing partners didn't appreciate it. Always a fun back nine ... somehow I always play my best on that part of the course. It's tight an really makes you focus on every shot.

The bunkers werent bad but could of been better. The greens were medium speed. There is a couple longer par 4's where a par would be real good. There is a 585 yd par 5 that tests your distance. I def. want to play this course again. Great course.

Course is as good as I have seen it in the past year.

Played today for the first time. Definitely will not be my last time. Excellent staff,greens medium to fast, smooth and true, Fairways lush, rough 1 to 2 inches, sand consistent and well maintained, tree boxes lush and level. Plenty of challenge for a golfer like me. Everything I want in a course.

Played the Creek Sat. 3/13 and the course is in fastastic shape minus a few greens that have many ball marks. But they're rolling true and semi-quick, and will hold a well struck ball with no problem... Continue »

Played the Creek Sat. 3/13 and the course is in fastastic shape minus a few greens that have many ball marks. But they're rolling true and semi-quick, and will hold a well struck ball with no problem. Always a nice day here, highly recommended OC track, nice grub at the turn and clubhouse. Grass driving range gets lot's of use but still a good deal.
