June 1, $65 Eagle Falls at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio...Course is tops in all areas from the driving range to sand in traps both fairway and green side. You get near the greens and grass is so perfect like chipping, pitching off mats, just have to be careful that the spin you hardly ever get does not keep stopping your ball short shot after shot. Place is in such good shape even the flag sticks and cups look new and cups cut sharp and level NICE. Only down side is the heat, which was not bad on June 1st, but having to wait on two groups of "Good Old Boy" golfers, (need to get close and watch each others shot instead of going to your shot and being ready) made it a little over 4 hours when conditions are so good it should not have been.

I played here on May 10. The course is very nice. It's tight and very challenging. Make sure you look at the gps to see any hidden penalty areas. Overall it's a great course.

Why can't we have these greens on all our courses? Just played Eagle Falls at Fantasy Springs Casino/Hotel in Indio. Greens were super special ball did not move on line even half and inch and speed was fairly fast. Fairways were about 80% perfect also, typical brown spots where sprinkler heads are not reaching. Sand traps as good as any with very fine and firm sand. This is one course they keep up all year. Full Driving range included in $65 dollar summer fair. We started just before 9 and finished in 3 and half hours waiting a little on group in front of us. Lucky day as temp never made it past 99. Also played the 18 hole 3 par, Shadow Hills North the day before, cannot find a better 3 par course, their greens were also very true, but a bit longer with against grain very slow.

Played 9/14/23 @ 9am. Green fees got bumped up to $65 but it's still a great deal for the quality of the course. Range balls included, nice sized practice area right next to the 1st tee box. Course is visually appealing and really green right now. Tee boxes mostly level although a couple of the par 3s had some issues. Fairways were nice but they were right in the middle of mowing them so there was grass clippings everywhere. Fairway bunkers were in good condition from what I saw, but was never in one. Greenside bunkers played well and the sand was borderline great. Greens were rolling really nice but were really firm, almost no pitch marks because of the firmness. Too bad they're shutting down in a couple of weeks for fall maintenance. I'm a little biased towards this course because it's one of my favorites and I always enjoy playing here. Just try and get out before 12pm or the wind will be howling.

Your kidding $45 Monday thru Thursday...THE best deal in California....we played at 8:30 today just under 4 hours. Practice range PERFECT, from hitting off grass, practice bunker, room to chip and pitch and a beautiful Putting green better then ANY public course I have played so far in 2022...then there is the course, if you find a better kept up course, bunkers, greens, fairways..(.OK little rough) your paying over $150 dollars. Have played maybe 40 times all around so far this year and Nothing is as big a value as Eagle Falls, they even had a cart women out with less then 20 groups on the course.......and chipping on to the greens, Pros would be amazed at the quality of grass around greens, in fact putting from 10 yards or so off the green is just an extension of the green it self maybe a quarter inch longer at best....

If you're looking for a solid golf course and practice area with good value, Eagle Falls is it. Just played here today after playing Desert Willow - Fire Cliff yesterday. I can say that the course at Eagle Falls is in better condition and a better value for golf. Not much of a clubhouse/restaurant bar scene here, but since its a part of the Fantasy Springs Casino I'm guessing that's where one can go to get a quality meal and cocktails. For the pure golf experience, it exceeded all expectations.

Played Tuesday, what can you say Eagle Falls is in great shape all away around...from fantastic driving range to well cared for bunkers...for $100 about the best deal in the Desert this time of year....as for playing it, the guy/gals that can keep the ball in the fairway it is very fair track..rough is short and brown outlining green fairways this time of year. Wild off the tee this is not the place for that as balls hit to far off line are basically gone. We love this place and the slot machines in the Casino make the after play hours fun too. I talk to a lot of players that play out in the Desert and so many miss this one, Terra a Logo is right up the street and cost about the same but cannot compare, but it seems everyone has played there but just drive past Fantisy Springs Casino without knowing Eagle Falls is right there on the other side of the Hotel........

Nice course and excellent value. Well maintained and challenging w/o being kooky. Nice mix of holes with risk/reward and long/short. Would play again and highly recommend.

Played 9/18 with 3 tee times starting at 9am. Check in was smooth cart guy must've had a long night as he wasn't very helpful but the pro shop guys were nice as well as the snack bar ladies. This course is on the Fantasy Springs Casino land and is kind of hard to find if you are not paying attention. The pro shop is just an old trailer but it does the trick. Carts are basic with usb plug and old visage GPS systems. Driving range is medium sized with a chipping and putting area for a proper warm up.

Course was in good shape for it being late summer. mostly green with some browning grass here and there. All of my shots from the fairway had nice cushion and plenty of roll. Fairway sand traps were a little on the firm side but that is what you want when trying to hit longer shots out of the traps. Rough was also lush but not very penal with most balls sitting up just fine. Greens were in good shape medium fast and only a few ball marks from uncourteous golfers ahead of us. When on the range I noticed 3 groups ahead of us that looked like they had never swung a club :( . Green side sand was soft and very nice to hit from. Lots of water features which make for a beautiful day on the course.

This is a fun layout and not overly long but worth playing especially for the rates which are better than most of the courses in the valley.
