Seven Hills is a great little course that's not too hard, showcasing the accessible side of golf that's available in central Riverside county. Greens are not too fast, but roll true and are actually quite small, putting some pressure on your approach shots - my playing partner was over the greens all day. The layout is mostly flat and wide parkland style, teeboxes are 'you can find a flat spot if you hunt' level and not chewed up. The rough is actually cut like rough here, and will punish you with bad lies if you find it. Bunkers are actually playable soft sand, which is more than I can say for Tukwet Canyon or Yucaipa Valley (yes I'm naming names). 100% walkable, carts have no GPS, every hole has distance stakes from 100 to 250. Clubhouse includes a nice looking restaurant and patio, there are multiple chipping/putting greens for practice in addition to the range. Go check it out - the layout might not be as interesting as Hemet GC but there are great rounds of golf to be played here. Make sure to pay tribute to the broken tee garden next to the 18th teebox.

We got to the course at 6:45. We all got there at same time. Check in was easy and we were asked if we wanted to tee off earlier than our time... after warmup, we waved to the starter and off we went.
I was actually impressed with the current conditions at Seven Hills.
The greens were for the most part smooth- on the slow side, but true, and for small greens like they have, I think it’s okay. They were all receptive though. I hit most of them (haha). You really have to pay attention to where you land on the greens because they mark easily and you gotta let the other guys behind experience the same good surfaces.
The fairways were lush and cut short, but they didn’t run much because they were wet/damp from the dew.
The bunkers were sort of different in a way that they have the fine sand but it felt heavy and somewhat wet. It plays a little different- it doesn’t jump out like many others but I’m glad that they have sand in it.
The teeing ground were okay and not chewed up including the par threes.
I was only invited here by my bro in law. But the course was enjoyable and not difficult at all. I could see plenty of guys here would probably bomb and wedge on many of the par fours… small greens though.

Greens back in shape, grass with playable lies in all fairways, most green side bunkers full of "soft" sand, fairway bunkers just hard packed still. 3 and half hour round starting at 11:30. $40, why isn't this course closer to my home? we left parking lot at a few minutes to 3 and there were 12 cars in the lot and looking out at course as we drove out no one could even be seen out playing? Why isn't this course closer to home, we live near Yucaipa Valley and the place is always busyl.

Fun round Saturday a little over 4 hours. Most greens in fair shape, a couple still hurting. Sand in some green-side bunkers, fairway bunkers mostly hard packed dirt. Fairways thick enough for a playable lie. Around greens also hit and miss some very nice, some fairly rough. Not the most lush course for sure, but for those that are not looking for high scale golf it is a fun little course. Just enough variety in the holes to make it fun and worth the fare. We play here about 5 times a year and love the low number of putts on the card because of the mostly small greens. On a good day you can beat your handicap fairly easy, and on a bad day it can get you.

First time here and my overall review of this course conditions were @B-
The course was laid out nicely around a modest neighborhood with many straight forward hole designs that weren’t tricked up- everything was in front of us. This is a real fun course. Warning the short dense pines are ball catchers and it may not fall from it- very thick.
The bunkers are not terrible but they can add sand in it. The teeing grounds are not too chewed up and you can find grass to tee it from. The fairways can leave your ball with mud but it isn’t wet or over watered. The greens are okay with some mixed grass and a few unattended ball marks- it putted okay I thought.
They had a special for $36 to ride.
Met a baseball hall of famer, Garry Templeton and it was pretty cool- he’s a great guy- even par for him.
We’ll be back again!

Early Sunday morning round in a little over four hours. The staff was friendly but a little confused. The carts continue to show their age but are still getting you back to the clubhouse. The practice facilities are small but adequate. The tee boxes had good coverage but a few were a little bit unlevel and home to the gofers. The rough was not very penal where is exsisted and on a few holes was mostly clover and dirt. The fairways were in pretty good condition with mostly nice lies and total coverage with no bare spots. The sand traps had nice fluffy damp sand that seemed to be as thick as butter. Hitting from the traps was quite and experience for our group. The greens were in nice shape but rolled a little slower than what we were used to playing on. Well struck putts held their line with not much break from start to finish. There are a few dog leg holes and water hazards on a few holes as well. Ths course is very flat and easily walkable for those who enjoy that. Everytime I have played here there have been quite a few beginers hacking up the place but seem to understand to keep moving. The rates and conditions are very fair for the area courses.

We play Seven Hills in Hemet about once a month...always a fun day as course plays much shorter then numbers on score card, the small greens help make it so, as almost every green you hit is a chance for a birdie putt. Conditions are as good as any course with the price they charge...we paid $35 today (Thursday). Fairways have old Bermuda grass still thick enough in most fairways to give you a good lie...rough is not to thick and sand bunkers are OK, some even very good. Three pars are short enough (150 most) to hit with a 9, 7 iron....par 5's long enough if your drive isn't over 250 no chance to hit in 2. For a beat up old public course this one has just enough caricature to make it fun and for many a low score for a change.....

Early morning 4.5 hour round on a very nice day. The staff is small but friendly. Carts are basic hand me downs from Menifee Lakes but at least have windshields. The tee boxes are almost all level but some needed a trim and attention. The rough varied from thin/dry to thick/damp on every hole. If you are too far off the fairway the rough disappears into dirt and weeds. The fairways are fairly generous and had good coverage with much more kikuyu than has existed before. The bunkers were all in good condition with ample sand that was damp but roughly raked and difficult to play from. The greens were okay but had way too many ball marks. They held shots well but so soft that large golfers left footprints walking across them. They rolled at medium speed and got quicker as our round progressed. There were a few greens with sections of bare dirt? The overall shape of the course with the rates charged is a good deal. Recommended

Always fun on this course for us with over 14 handicaps...small greens if you hit them you have good chance for a one put.. Weekday rate of $35 with cart very fare...course is in summer shape and a few greens are not doing very well....typical public course bunkers, good luck. Most fairways yield playable lies...Kikuyu grass around most greens keeps anything short from advancing unless very thin coverage. Play can slow down as a lot of high handicaps play this course...as always some try to move or let you play through, and the jerks don't. we followed a foursome that had "PROS" three putting all the greens after walking all around reading them..the foursome in front them were also a part of the group so you know they were two holes behind by the time we reached 12. Oh well still love playing this course as it is not a killer...18 holes we all played only one ball that tells the whole story on how hard it is.....
