Played Saturday 8/2. Windy conditions in the PM hurting upwind holes. I appreciate what the greenskeeper has done to keep the greens in very good condition with consistent roll and speed. That the greens are so good means they must overwater and the runoff goes in the bunkers. The sand is neither deep nor dry, making for very tough outs from the traps here. I enjoy the course and layout but wish the wind machine would turn off.

I hadn't played this course before so it was refreshing to play something new. We used a coupon for $34 with unlimited play plus a couple of freebies... sleeve of balls and a bottle of water. We definitely got our monies worth... we got 40 holes in and could've gotten in a few more but I was beat. We got lucky because it stayed in the mid to upper 80's all day with a slight breeze in the morning but it got windy in the afternoon. I'll definitely go back and play this course... the conditions are fantastic and it's an interesting layout. No club house yet but it's suppose to be completed in September... which will be nice but I can see the green fees going up when it's done.

Conditions were outstanding, fairways were immaculate and greens rolled true. Bunkers were very wet, not clear why as it was a hot sunny day. As metioned by others, two very different nines. front is much shorter and narrower, some very interesting holes require accurate placement of tee shots. Back nine is wide open but today was extremely windy (>30mph) and this made the nine very difficult. The three par 5s all played with the wind and added nearly 50 yards to my drives. However the short par 4s and two par 3s played directly into the wind and also had very large elevation changes so that unless the shot was hit perfectly, it would blow offline by 30 yards. If you hit it straight the length was reduced by over 2 clubs. Not exactly the British Open but very difficult.

Condition of the course was very nice but unfortunately no driving range. Awesome views all around. The front nine had some tight fairways and but the back nine was wide open. The score card with tips & descriptions for each hole was very helpful as this was my first time on this course. The prices were very reasonable and the marshalls seem to manage the flow of golfers very well (no one was at our heels and we only seldom caught glimpses of the group in front of us). I would probably play this course again.

Lack of a clubhouse hurts the experience.

Despite the clubhouse situation, I would play this course again.

Played here on 6/16 for the first time with a co-worker. Overall a nicely kept course. It has just enough slopes and hazards to keep things interesting. The wind tends to pick up in this area later... Continue »

Played Dos Lagos on Saturday 6/21 and it was hot!!! Temp when we finished at 1:30 was 112. Condition of course was good in spite of the temperature. Layout is interesting. Front 9, in my opinion, is better than the back with more strategy involved. Back 9 more open except for the holes on the side of the mountain. On the back some of the holes are adjacent to each other and we were nearly hit by a few wayward shots. Management needs to look at this before someone gets hurt. As others have said in past reviews lack of a clubhouse and driving range is a major detriment and I agree.

Played on very hot day of 104+ temperature. First off, I was pleansantly surprised fairways were quite nice considering the heat wave this area has endured for the past few weeks. Kudos to the greenskeeper here for their efforts to keep the course irrigated but not overly soaked. This course is a nice blend of challenging holes and some fun holes. Tee boxes, aforementioned fairways, and greens were all in acceptable conditions. The only discernable problem was some gopher (or some other critter) holes near the 16th green. The entire staff (pro-shop, starter, marshall, and cart girl) was excellent and courteous in services. The round took approximately 4 1/2 hours on Sunday morning.
