Played on 6/7. One of my favorite courses. Course is in good shape, although the greens have some kind of fungus in them that made them really slow. Still had a great time. Staff was super and very accommodating. Had a 7:56A and was out of there by 12:15. This is a must play.

Played before but noticed the bunkers have very coarse sand..very granular..not sand really..greens are true and fast and none of the approaches should be considered easy..multi-tiered greens all around..doesn't penalize you for being a short driver (if you go off the rough..you're done though) but you need a GOOD short game chipping, putting, to get you through the day.

Played twilight on 5/7 with a young couple. All golfers should learn golf etiquette before getting on the course. The couple drove the cart very close to the greens (few yards away); probably don't know about reparing ball marks and never raked sand bunkers.
Course is in very good condition, ball sits up nicely on the fairway. Greens are smooth but may have some kind of disease. They look spotty (grass color is not uniform). Would love to play the course again and again unless greens get ruined.

Payed Thursday ,had not played for around 2 years, price,too far for some of our group,, Great day on a fun track. Most of the course is in terrific,wonderful condition. Then you get to a greenside bunker,footprints,divots,, no rake within 100 yards,, . Workers driving carts thru muddy areas and causing deep ruts,, very weird. But, most of the day was fun and great golf. For the $$$ the things that bothered us shouldnt have been there. We will come back,sooner than 2 years.

Played Friday the 21st as a threesome paying only $39 using my GolfNow.com Country Club membership...(formerly known as Tiger Team) Two of us were first timers at the Quarry and what a spectacular setting! The greens were being aerated 2 holes a week for about five weeks now, that was actually a blessing in disguise since we played in 25+ mph winds in the afternoon and it felt like a U.S. Open qualifying round or better yet, a British Open round...Absolutely loved Hole #14, best Par 3 in So. Sal bar none!!! A must play for all golfers...
Course conditions are very good except for the sanded greens and a few bunkers...Had a great time and what a challenge it is to conquer the ROCK!!!

This place has definitely gone down hill over the last couple of years. Played with Xavier??? on 4-17 and cannot agree more with his complaint about lack of balls on range then the starter rushing us out after hitting about 4 each. I think it compares with Eagle Glen as far as being a major disappointment. Save your cash and play Goose Creek.

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
