This was a fun course to play. They just punched the greens but the attendant at the counter gave us a 2 for 1 coupon because we booked on line and had no way of knowing they were aerified. Love the lay out and the conditions. The golf shop was very friendly and the food was fair. We will make this a regular stop.

Played on the 16th, early morning. First, customer service was great. from the bag girls to the marshalls, top notch. Overall the course is in excellent conditions. Teeboxes are nice and level. Fairways were also nice. There were some wet spots, since it was early morning... but overall they were in great condition for this time of year. Roughs were pretty good. some were just hard to get out of... sand traps were ridiculously deep. Made it a challenge just to get it out. Greens were excellent!!! Rolling true and fast.... Overall, excellent place to change your normal course rotation. I'll definitely come back.

Played 8/15. Course is in great condition. Greens are fast, smooth, relatively unmarked, and receptive. Tee boxes were lush and level. Fairways were fantastic, nice and buttery; a couple rough spots, but basically unnoticeable.

I certainly didn't expect the course to be in this type of condition. It was a great surprise. Just assumed the heat would have had some impact on the course, but the greenskeeper has done an amazing job fending off the heat. Also, no real wet spots on the course like many other places trying to combat the heat. Only 40 bucks for twilight at 1pm. This is a great deal for sure.

This is a really good course. I haven't played SCPGA (sorry, East Valley) in a couple years and had forgotten how strong the layout on the Champions side is. Also, very accomodating staff and five star practice area and driving range. I usually end up playing Oak Valley when in Beaumont, but I am looking forward to getting back out on this course once the punching is done.

Played the Champions course yesterday. The course is outstanding. The greens are perfect and the fairways are nice and lush. I will go on record and say that this is quite possibly the best conditioned public golf course in Southern California. As I have mentioned earlier, I love everything about the facility.

Played the champions course yesterday and enjoyed ever second of it. The staff was very professional and the starters were friendly. The course condition has never been better. Glad to see the new owners taking more pride in this place than the PGA did.. This is a must play. They also have a great facility for weddings. My wife and I just got married here last spring.

I absolutely love this golf course and it never disappoints. I play here quite frequently and this is the best the golf course has been in a long time. The greens are absolutely perfect! The bunkers play a lot better than they have in the past. It looks like the new management is really paying attention to the details, especially when many other courses are in terrible condition. The staff is outstanding and always accomodating to us. It is great that they continue to treat their loyal employees well. A must play! Hit em' straight.

We play Champions and Legends several times a week, and we love both courses. They are usually in excellent condition, with the exception of the bunkers, which are as hard as a rock. We love the staff as well, but have noticed of late that the morale is extremely low. Many club members and several key employees have disappeared. From asking around, we surmise that the new management is responsible. We also have noticed that only one course is open on Monday through Thursday, which makes for unnecessarily slow play. Last time out, we had to get a new cart twice, due to flat tires. Most of the tires on most of the carts are bald. Also, there is no hydration available from the early afternoon on - tough on those hot days. Again, these are management issues that need to be addressed. All in all, we love playing there and hope that the management has noticed the negatives and care enough to do something about them.

I played this course on July 23rd, and I really enjoyed the experience. All of the guys in the clubhouse were courteous and good-natured, and the cart girls were friendly, and they would swing by on occasion to see if I needed anything to eat or drink. My thanks to all of the staff.

As for the course, well, I've been thinking about it ever since I walked off of the 18th green. It's a good challenge, but it's fun to play, too. (Some courses with similar ratings and slopes can be exasperating to me by the end of the day.) I played from the white tees, and I noted that the course could be extremely long if a player wanted that added challenge. I found that my tee shots had to be very accurate. There's a good portion of doglegs on this course, and the fairway bunkers are very well placed. Further, the fairway bunkers that I was in had very steep faces, and I could not reach the greens as a result. The fairways were in good condition, but I noted that I had a number of sidehill and downhill lies. Now for the greens... Perhaps, the greens were the toughest part of this course. For the first three holes, I read the break to go one way, only to find the ball go in the other direction. Thereafter, I would go to the opposite side of the cup to get a better read. That seemed to help me. A bunch of the greens have two or three tiers. The tiers created natural ridges, and the greens were quite often very undulating, as a result. (Those ridges allow the staff to put the pins in some wicked positions.) Three times, I hit shots directly at the pin, only to watch them trail off to one side or the other (and a good distance, too). It would really help a golfer if he or she could play with someone who has seen these greens a few times, because it can mean the difference between a three foot putt and a twenty-five footer. I did enjoy these greens, though. They were medium fast and just smooth on smooth for the most part. (By the way, I wish folks would fix their divots more often on this course.) I can't wait to play this course, again...and I still haven't played The Legends. Good luck to you and have fun out there.
