Beautiful course, top rate facilities, and great service. Course was in great shape, aeration is barely noticeable, and did not effect course at all. The fog delay is a drag, but they handle it well with a shotgun start for the backed up tee times. Tough course, lots of elevation changes, lots of contour on greens, but you can score if you keep the ball in the fairway, and keep the ball below the hole, and as close as possible. Too bad it's such a cruise from Pedro, 100 miles each way, but a great course with impeccable service.

Played here on a Sat. mid morning. I had read the aeration alert prior to playing so it wasn't a big surprise, why is it that the staff won't inform you BEFORE they ask for your $92? We have played here when it was better but this day saw lush fairways (as in not mown), and plenty of poanna. Hopefully the changes here will not deter the PGA from providing as great a product as they have in the past.

I drive a long way to get here, traffic and all, but I always come away feeling like I got my money's worth. Wish it was closer, I'd join their unlimited golf program. Best bang for the buck in SoCal b/c of the great layout and great conditions. That says a lot coming from a guy who just played on aerated greens. Just watchout for the multi-tiered greens. They will sock you w/ a 3-putt in a blink of an eye.

Play this course quite often, and its supurb conditioning is the reason. Today was no different. Teed off at 7:45AM, nobody in front of us and nobody behind us, a great day with no wind. Play before all the houses go up, they will really change the feel of this great track.

Played a Golf Extra tournament for $105 which I felt was pretty expensive. This golf course is in great shape. Very lush fairways and quick greens. It was a very windy day today so it was more of survival than trying to score. All in all, no complaints for a very exclusive golf course.

2/6- Golfmedic says these greens are tricky and that is something of an understatement. Numerous false fronts and willingness to cut the pins close to them made for some exciting chipping and lag putting.( I had a downhill 12ftr for birdie and my stroke for par was a chip from 30 yds away. OW!) Challenging layout but i'll bet the wind can grind you up. Greens seemed a little banged up, especially on the shorter par 3's Good pace of play on a Fri morning and friendly staff.

Course was in excellent physical condition. Layout was fair. I played Oak Quarry the same week and although they are both excellent tracks, I enjoyed the course design better at Oak Quarry. But, not to take anything away from the Champions course, it still is well worth the travel to play.

Had a 7:40 tee time which was delayed due to the cold weather. We were shotgunned off at 8:00 and still played the round in 4 hrs. Course is in fantastic shape although some of the bunkers had quite a few small rocks in them. Reserved a tee time online through golf909.com and only paid 56 dollars. Great value, check it out.
