Played super twilight on April 22 (cold and windy) and paid $15 with a cart. best bargain ever. Finished 18. Played again on April 28, much nicer weather. Course was in great condition although sand traps probably could use some conditioning and would sure look better on this oasis type layout if they were white sand like Eagle Glen. Soboba is is a gem.

Played the course for my second time today. Was impressed again. Greens appeared to have been aerated recently but rolled very true. I found playing it a second time did wonders for my score. It’s a flat course but you’ve got to know where to place it off the tee. The trees really come into play and approach angles are very important. Snowmaned #16 the first time and again today. Starting to wonder if driver is not the club here and maybe I should hit a couple well placed iron shots to put myself in position for a wedge in. Just a fun golf course worth the drive and green fee. I’ll be back!

Played (1/19) LOVE THIS COURSE! The place is a hike to get there but well worth it in my opinion. It’s got a very intriguing layout that’s both fun and challenging, fantastic putting greens, friendly service, and a back nine that features THREE par 5’s in a row! Most of the great public golf courses now days are of a newer breed…Soboba Springs is different. It’s a mature golf course built in the 60’s with large trees, undulating yet fair putting surfaces, rolling fairways, big doglegs, and none of these ridiculous uphill/downhill lies or giant chasms to hit over. I found it to be a refreshing and enjoyable experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Some of the best greens I’ve played in a long time…very soft, very smooth, and roll true…thought the rest of the course was in great shape too! Normally stick to playing Shandin Hills, El Rancho, and some of my other local faves…you can bet I’ll be making the trip to play here again.
