Played 6/21 using a $39 email offer (Included Hot Dog and Chips). The course is especially a good value at this price. The greens had been sanded within the last couple of weeks, but really didn't have too much effect on putting. Course was in fantastic condition. You can really cut your driver loose on this course. Lots of room off the tee. Enjoyed the course a lot. Highly recommeneded.

Gotta agree with mepotter,this track does all possible to make sure ya have a good time, Palm Trees frame the greens in case you have a semi blind shot, Empire lakes,menifee a lot of others do the same, they dug down a little to get your butt out of the terrible wind that comes down Cajon Pass in the afternoon, greens are fragile, players dont repair marks and we get brown spots, but,, this is a good deal and a fun course. And,, the staff is always very professional.One of our monthly stops.

I don't know what cspan is talking about. Since this course opened a little more than four years ago, it is still the best maintained course for the $ in the LA, OC, and Inland Empire. I played on June 11th, the fairways were perfect, not soggy. While the greens have been less than great for the past couple of months, they are starting to come back. People just need to FIX their ballmarks!! I played a course in Las Vegas that had Pine trees, didn't make it wierd.

Played morning of Jun 6. This course is not worth the green fee. Every hole looks the same, and all of the artificial mounding gets tiresome. The greens were horrible; I have never seen so many ball marks in my life. This course has a weird feel to it...I mean, we're in Fontana, and it's got all these palm trees...weird. Plus, I don't know if this course has drainage problems or what, but the whole d%mn course is soggy and swampy. There is a nice grill/bar. That's it though. There are better options in the area.

I think the best test of a course course is when you play poorly and still enjoy the course. I shot my worst round of the year, yet enjoyed the course. While one of the most generous courses in terms of forgiveness, if you don't hit the shots, even an easy course plays tough. Overall, course was in nice shape. Wish I could blame the course, but it was all me.

Played on thur 4-29-04, course is in great shape other than the greens. The freakin golfers out here do not like to fix their ball marks or rake the sand traps. I must have fixed 2 or 3 ball marks a green. Some of these guys should read "Golf for Dummies" by Gary McCord or "Golf Rules and Etiquette for Dummies" by John Steinbreder, and learn how to take care of a golf course. It is really sad how bad some of the greens are. I even understand they have one greenskeeper guy going around trying to keep up with repairing all the ball marks. Other than that I love playing here. Staff is always great and very nice.
