Played on Wednesday 8/12. The online deal we got was good; however, many of the greens and tee boxes are in horrible shape right now. They claim that they are the "4th best course in SD county". Maybe North County SD when it's in good shape because you can't compare this course with the likes of Aviara, Maderas, Barona, or Torrey. The fairways are in good shape with bermuda and kikuyu grass and the rough was at a decent length. I will be back once the greens heal and hopefully they will get a chance to level out some of the tee areas.

Course has been improving over last couple years. Customer service and fairways are much better - greens still need some work. Great place to get in a weekend round.

Played here on 5/11/11. I have driven past this course so many times and was excited to finally have a chance to play it. I was not disappointed. The front nine is fairly flat and wide open and gives you chance to really try to rip your driver. The back nine is very tight and tree lined with several doglegs. You definitely need to play this course a few times to get a feel for it. The greens were not pretty to look at (some bare spots/off color) but they rolled smoothly with what I would call a medium pace. The fairways and bunkers were good shape. Some tee boxes were not level but nothing too bad. I walked the course for $38 and was very happy with my choice. Definitely will return as soon as I get a chance

GREENS WERE TERRIBLE, AND THEY WERE SLOW. THE FAIRWAYS WERE FAIR, AND T BOXES WERE OK. WOULD NOT GO BACKTHERE TO PLAY. PACE OF PLAY WAS SLOW.

You won't be disappointed and there are many memorable holes. Currently some of the greens are showing dimples due to recent aeration but I can't say that it affected my score. Overall, it's a challenging course with a lot of memorable holes. Is it the 4th best course in San Diego? No. Is it worth the $'s - yes. Is it a pushover course? No.

Played this afternoon and the course is in good shape. The greens are rolling nice and the fairways are nice. Rough is fairly non-existent but the course defends itself with the trees, not the rough. traps were firm, but had sand so not to bad. Played fast for being so crowded and saw the cart girl 3 times and they had a great deal on beers. Staff friendly and went above and beyond.

The greens are in the best shape in five years I'm playing the course, one member said best in ten. Rain in Dec turned the place green and healthy looking. Service was great and the place looked manicured. This must be under new management, everyone was friendly and pleasant. Had a coupon out of the newspaper, saved $20, was worth the ride. Not the same place!!

Always a decent track to play. Can see now where they have cut a lot of corners because of the recession. Greens seem to be the only thing better since the last time I was here, everthing else seems to have slid a bit. Wont be back for some time, better courses out there at better prices right now but good to play once a year to remember what it is.

Played 12/28 just after 7 am. Course was in good shape and played at a decent pace. Tee boxes were in good shape, fairways were also in good shape, but a little wet from the rain the week before. Greens were soft and medium speed, but rolled true. Once the water dries up, the course will be very good.
