Played 7/26 @ 11:30. Fastest front nine I think I ever played (about one hour). The greens are smooth & pretty quick in spots even w/ all the unfixed ball marks. Tees & fairways are in decent shape (nothing to brag about. It hot as hell right now out there so get a morning tee time & beat the HEAT.

Received a free round on my B-Day. Had a 11:07 Tee-times, didn't tee off until 11:50. It was an absolute mess on the first tee. I guess there was a Tournament.

Received a free round on my B-Day. Had a 11:07 Tee-times, didn't tee off until 11:50. It was an absolute mess on the first tee. I guess there was a Tournament.
Surprisingly, the greens were in pretty good shape. The rough was very spoty (like spores everywhere). Its a crap shoot whether you get a decent like.
Overall, it was a good day (shot 79). Can't beat free golf on your B-day! Too bad their going to punch the greens soon...

This golf course is well kept. The tees are level and lush with minor divot damage. The fairways are well groomed and the greens are smooth and fast. There are a lot of leaves on the greens so this can make putting difficult. The course is fairly flat and wide yet challanging.

A nice tree lined course. The greens are the strong point here. They are smooth and hold well even in the afternoon. This course more crowded than the Monte Vista side.

Played this course on 8/6/2006 for the first time. The course is in great shape for this time of year. Fairways are great, tee boxes are great signs of a lot of rounds played but are pretty much level, bunkers I was in one not the greatest of conditions, but let's face it no one should be in the bunker in the first place. Now for the best part! I'm not going to lie! I did not completely understand the "putt rolled true" thing until yesterday. The greens at Cottonwood have to be the nicest greens I have ever putted. Needless to say if you miss a putt you can't blame anything/anyone but yourself. The greens are so good right now mainly because Jr. Worlds were played there a couple of weeks ago. But it was an awesome experience to get to putt on something like that. Nice course just to enjoy yourself. Staff was great, Marshall stopped and had a couple of laughs with us, cart girls should be enough for anyone to come back! (sorry, ladies saw one old guy driving a beverage cart.) Pace of play was slow 5 hours it was the weekend though, didn't seem that long but after looking at the clock it was. Overall I would recommend this course for anyone. Mid price range if you can walk it that would be the way to go.

I've played Ivanhoe before, but this was the best the course has looked. You couldn't ask for better greens. I can't wait to play there again!!!

Nice layout for the course. Not much water comes into play on Ivanhoe. Challenging slopes on greens make placement crucial on several holes.
