Overcast day and a little cool in the low 50s* on the range but it warmed up to a comfortable mid to high 60s- slight breeze.
This review is going to be straight out easy as the whole course was in great shape from tee to green all day long.
The teeing grounds on the Cobalt tees were perfect with a few club marks on the par threes and it was good.
The fairways were nice and green and closely mowed. It was nice as it gave some roll though not so much on the up hill or the roughs.
Speaking of the rough, it can be penalizing in some areas and many times it’s not easy to get a clean or flush shot- it is healthy!
The one green-side bunker I got into was okay. Fluffy on top and had a good firmness underneath- I thought it was good prep.
The greens were a pleasure. It was fast like maybe 11.5… 12 maybe but it rolled nicely and true to say the least.
They had a beverage cart girl who we saw three times during the round.
Many helpful staff from pro shop to cart barn.
The view of the strip was pretty and can be seen in many of the holes.
I would play this again in a heartbeat… I hope to get another call (lol).
