I played as a twosome with Jgill07 on UP voucher at 11am. Fairways greens and tee boxes were in good shape. Bunkers were thin and crusty, but the story of the day was the rough... all There was no concept of a first cut, as the rough had not been mowed at all. The course is lush for this time of year, and the rough grew up to a foot deep just off the fairway and near the green. If you missed in the wrong spot, good luck finding your ball!

I've always loved this layout with its unique features and elevation changes. It's worth the drive on a deal price. If the rough was maintained at all, it would be worth 4.5 stars.

Met Jgill07 for 10:10 start on underpar unlimited deal for $41, and we were able to squeeze in 18 on both Legends and Champions... That's a lot of golf course for the money! Perfect weather with wind playing a factor in decision making on occasion, but not bothersome by any means.

Extensive practice facilities with grass range, with fairway style bunkers, 18 hole putting green, and pitching/chipping green with DEEP bunkers (though they both had water at bottom.

Both course are in great shape, lush fairways, and thick rough. Thanks to to the grounds crew for mowing the rough to a reasonable height this time! At least you could find your ball, but it does help your score to avoid it.

Bunkers are abundant and large, greenside traps are deep, with many that had lips well overhead. Well groomed for the most part but some had quite a few rocks...

Tees are in decent shape, and greens rolled well though cut very thin. Lots of small undulations to make for a tough putting day.

POP at 4.5 for round one and 4.0 on round 2. Finished at sunset.

It's a long drive, but well worth it if you've got a deal for 18+!

Played on Sunday 10:40am on an Underpar deal. Beautiful day, and we spent most of the day alone with nature as a 2some.

The course was in pretty good shape as far as fairways and greens. Hard to find any ball marks! Even so, the greens were a little slow, needed a fresh mow.

Even with a good driving day, I did find some bare patches, and the rough was pretty shaggy and patchy...

Bunkers were decently maintained though dark, dirty sand, I didn't have the pleasure of playing them...

Definitely worth the discount rate, I was pleasantly surprised. The slope rating is a little off, although challenging, not 133 by a long shot. My handicap got a nice bump from a good day.

Played her for the first time in the afternoon 3/26 on a GK meet and play, the course was challenging and varied in layout with some huge elevation changes.

The staff was friendly but we didn't see a marshal or a cart girl the entire round. Pace of play was acceptable as we rarely had to wait playing as a threesome.

Fairways were full, though with the variety of grasses. The rough was lush but playable. About two thirds of the bunkers have been renovated with new sand, others were either under repair or hardpan.

About half the water hazards were drained empty, but you're not supposed to play them, are you?

The greens are very soft and in good condition, and rewarded aggressive shots. This course is worth a return visit especially for the afternoon rate of $45.

I played on Sunday 3/19 at 9:34 am on an unlimited Groupon for $39.

I was bummed I couldn't get an earlier time for my foursome until I arrived an hour early in heavy fog. Things cleared up nicely shortly after 9, and remained pleasant the rest of the day...

The course was in better shape than the last time I was here a couple years ago. Many fairways were roped off and the sod has filled in pretty well, 6/10.

Bunkers were well maintained, pretty soft compared to what I expected after seeing how dark the sand was. 6/10

Greens were in good shape and FAST in the morning. This combined with difficult pin placements combined for a rough day putting (starting with an Els-like 6-putt on #1). Instead of getting harder in the afternoon, they were much softer and slower. 7/10

Overall, a fun layout. #6 will get in your head with water on the left, but you can drive past most of the trouble and give yourself a good angle to the green over the land if you keep right...

There's several holes with large trees on either side of the fairway, so a straight drive is very rewarding to the eyes!

Service was friendly, we saw the cart girl 3 times in the morning, but not at all after 2. However, the bathrooms in the main clubhouse could use a powerwash to get rid of a heavy urine smell... 4/10

It was a long drive for me to meet with friends, but a great deal for a full day of golf. The course met all of my expectations for the price.
