Played today, the final round of the Kauai Challenge. This is a great, fun resort course. It's
got some outstanding picturesque holes. Today, the wind was really tame so, I can't complain, I had one of my better rounds. Unfortunately, the greens on the front side have
some fungus going on and they were a little bumpy. The back side greens were in better shape. I'll mention that the staff here is also very accommodating. If you get a chance to visit
this island, you won't have a better golf experience, and if the price is too steep, this island
also have a couple very nice local courses.

Played this course on Friday the 30th on the Kauai Challenge. Great deal by the way. You play
the best 3 courses on the island for about $150.00 per course. Now, about here. The greens
were some of the best I've played. Awesome and true. The wind is this course's defense. I played in about 15mph winds. Not too bad. The round took about 3 1/4 hours. I've always loved the layout and a must play if visiting Kauai. The staff really try to make your round a great experience. Great time.

Drove out from Valencia to play on Saturday morning with a good friend. Very old school Palm Springs feel. My wife and I usually go to La Quinta to stay and play but this course and area really brought me back to when I was a kid and my family came to Palm Springs to vacation. Nice friendly well manicured course in historic Palm Springs. Played in 4 hours on
a Saturday morning. Not overly difficult by any means but well thought out course. The neighborhood was classic. Tucked in the canyon to protect from the wind. Overall a great morning on a fun well taken care of course. Great Breakfast too. I'll be back.

Put on a Holiday tournament, yesterday, December 30, and couldn't have had a better day. We
had a little over 50 players and to a man, everyone loved the course. I live out here and used
to play out here all the time before it went private many many years ago. Since then, a lot of history, PGA and Championship Tour battles and I for one, think it's one of Robert Trent Jones
Sr.'s best. The course and staff were great. The greens magnificent. We all got a little taste on the conditions the pros played. Great time on a truly great course.

Played this morning with 3 other buddies early. I thought the course was in great condition.
Tee boxes were great. I thought the fairways were lush. The greens looked great. We just thought the greens looked faster than what they were. All day none of us got the ball to the hole, but that was on us. Always have loved this course.

Played today in a foursome with great friends. We walked the course this morning, tee boxes,
fairways and greens all in fantastic shape. We finished the round in 3 1/2 hours. I love this course. Being 55, played for $34.00. This is what I don't get. I live in Valencia so I'm a non
resident in LA city municipals even though Valencia is in LA County and payed $35.00 to play Hansen Dam yesterday. That course was in what I would say typical shape for a muni course.
I'm venting but, if you have a friend and want to play manicured courses at a great price, there
are plenty of courses in the inland empire and else where at great prices.

Played today as a twosome 6:20am from Golfnow. For $59.00, this course is well worth it.
Everything from tee boxes to greens in above level shape. Not a long course by any means but you have to hit it relatively straight. Played from the black tees and still didn't take out the driver until the back nine. Very picturesque with interesting holes. Played behind a threesome and didn't wait a bit. Finished the round in 3 hours 36 minutes. I don't know if the course is worth the normal 100.00 to play but for what we paid and the overall quickness
of the round made it extremely enjoyable.

Played this morning 3/19/12 at 7:40am. Chilly but calm and once the Sun came over the hills very calm and enjoyable. Our fore some became a twosome so pace was like a stroll in the park. The course in good shape and even in the baranca areas you couldn't even tell it had rained over the weekend. I always enjoy this course, one of the best deals in Southern Cal. Still, always tough to read the subtleties in these greens.

Played the Mountain course this morning. Wanted to go to PGA West but everything was booked up. With the exception of a frost delay, I was very pleasantly surprised. The course was in magnificent shape and very challenging with fast smooth greens. I hadn't played this course in over 9 years and that was in the heat of summer. Had a great time, GPS on the carts
and just a beautiful morning with no wind. Stay below the hole. Staff was very pleasant.

Played this morning at 7:30am. Fairways in great shape, the greens a tad on the slow side unless you're putting downhill downgrain. Played in just 4 and a 1/2 hours due mostly because we were out there by our lonesome and we all hit a second ball occasionally. Just great friends getting a chance to play. I have always loved this course and the value.

Played this morning (at) 5:56am, a twosome. Went out after the very first twosome. For the price, a very challenging narrow golf course. All areas in real good shape. Played in just over
3 hours and had a great time even though my swing didn't show up until the 12th hole. As long as I play early, the traffic getting there and the traffic on the course is minimal. I'll be back!

Played this morning with 8 other friends and peers (3 threesomes) and loved it. Great weather, no wind. A very challenging but fair course in great shape. The bunkers could use
more sand but other than that, just a nice test of golf. The consensus was we'd all be back!
