Played today in the heat, and it was a good time. The greens were punched recently (on Oct 1st?), so they were slow and bumpy. Overall, though, the rest of the course was in good shape, with good fairways, reasonable length rough and pretty well tended sand traps. One nice change from other courses in the area was there was a decent amount of sand in the traps, so it was possible to play them like normal. There were a few areas where the water had collected and made for some muddy conditions, but overall it was very good. The practice facilities at the course are pretty good, with some kind of trackman-type thing on the driving range and a good sized practice putting/chipping area.

Greens were pretty good today, with some bare/dirt areas that are growing back. Fairways were also OK, with bare dirt and seeded areas in some places. Tee boxes were generally good, with a few a bit overgrown. Heard that they will be punching the greens in mid-October. Pace of play was fairly quick, considering we were waiting on a two-some in front of us most of the day.
