Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!Played this course for the 1st time in over a year...Yikes!!! What happened! Tee boxes are mostly dirt - Fairways are thin and very wet! Mud Bunkers and Half of every green is bare and the part that isn't Bare and dead have some fungus on them or are over grown and slow.
Very sad to see this course in this shape. I think Echo Hills on the other side of town that has been closed for over 5 yrs is in better condition. They should really think about closing up until this course turns around. What use to be a good deal Of $30 a round plus a meal to play here is now a joke. They shouldn't charge any more than $5 to play on this course.

Played this course at 7 am 2/12/11. Only 2nd time have had played here. (1st time I played here got too intoxicated to remember much.) First off no range due to the employee that opens it not being there on time. Second the fairways are very bare and thin. On the first hole they chose to turn the sprinklers on and soak the green as we hit our approach shot. Great! All bunkers where very wet with very little sand and I was in a few. The greens are the only good thing on this course. Firm, rolled true and very fast. I paid a discount rate on Golfnow at $50 each and that is still way too high. Call the club house for tee times and you will pay $75! I can't believe that they are holding a Golf Channel Am Tour tournament there tomorrow. If you want to play a great course in the Temecula/Murrieta area go to Redhawk at $65 a person or Temecula Creek at $80 a person. I have heard that this course was once a great course but I doubt it will be again any time soon.
Played this course on 1/1/11. Had a 12:15 tee time but got to go out early. Played the tips due to many players in front of us figured the extra yardage will help our pace. It did, finished in 4 1/2 hrs. half the tee boxes where destroyed and the other half where great. Front 9 fairways where thin but the back 9 where good. Sand traps where mud or under water due to the rain. If you have ever been to Hemet you know the entire city gets flooded with any amount of rain. All the greens where great.
