Played on 7/24/2022. This course is under construction with multiple temp tee boxes and temp greens (just a flag stuck in a circle in the fairway). Definitely not green status. They don't tell you on the website or when you check in about the construction

Played 11-13-20 a couple weeks after overseeding. The course is in great shape. The greens were in good condition but just a touch slow (they will speed up in the next couple weeks). What was different was the service. I was picked up in the parking lot, given a complimentary bucket of balls because they were running 15 minutes late, they came and got me on the driving range when I was up, new carts with JBL speakers (listened to the masters), clubs cleaned very well after the round and driven to my car. The best service I have ever had at a muni. Actually better than a lot of private courses I’ve played

So sad to see what a cow pasture this course has become. This is where Anika shot 59 and used to be an amazing track. I called ahead and was told the greens were nice and running great. False. Tee boxes-half bare, fairways- thin grass with large weeds and lots of bare spots, bunkers-nice sand but unkept, greens- slow, bumpy and putts didn't roll straight. What a waist of a great layout

Really good course that plays along the ocean. The greens were close to perfect, running around 10. The rest of the course was in good shape. A nice variety of tee boxes, playing 6900 from the back. A nice variety of holes that requires most or all the clubs in your bag. Great value for $48 and set up nice for walkers

This might be the best $10 golf course in the United States. Only 9 holes but you can play as much as you want for $10. They were having some problems with the green on number one but the rest of the course was good.

I played 7-23-18 at 10:00 am. This is a fun and challenging 9 holes in a beautiful setting. Both driving range and course views are spectacular. The course was in great shape and the greens ran true. The greens were medium speed, maybe 9-10.

Played today July 11. Positives-the course (except the greens) were in good condition. The employees were great. The food in the grill was great. Negatives-the greens were painfully slow and bumpy. Lots of mosquitoes.

Played this morning for $19 with cart off their website. 4 hour round. Course was in good shape. Greens were a little slow but ran true. Fairways good. Rough about 1 1/2". Tee boxes and bunkers good. Cart girl good. Enjoyable muni for a good price

I played the Legacy on the last day of 2016. Great course to end the year on. The greens were awesome! The fairways and tee boxes were great . Some of the bunkers were a little thin on sand . We saw the beverage cart five or six times and there's a great little grill at the turn . This course is pretty challenging and has a number of great holes. They have a nice range, putting green and chipping area which is included in the price of the green fee .

I played 4-10-15. HEADS UP! The greens have been aerated with large holes and the putting was frustrating. They looked alright and rolled decent, but the holes threw the ball off your line

I played here 2/6/2015 with a 1:52 tee time. The course is a fun layout and I did notice that they have added some new longer tee boxes to a number of the holes. The fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. The bunkers were decent to good. The greens were a little thin in spots, but not bad. The green speed was medium. The pace of play was , a typical Friday afternoon 4 1/2 hours. They have a lighted range that is very popular. 2 good putting and chipping areas. This course is very walker friendly

I played Encanto on 1-20-15 at 1:00. It was $20 to walk with a Phoenix card. This course says on it's website that it was built in 1935 and is ideal for the average golfer. I would agree, but would add, there is plenty of challenge for the better golfer as well.

The fairways and greens were in very good condition. The greens rolled pretty fast and true. The rough is currently not overseeded and not penalizing unless you get a bad lie or end up behind one of the many trees or shrubs. The bunkers looked good, but only had about an inch of sand on top of hard pack dirt.

I really enjoyed walking and playing this course and think it's a great value for January golf in Phoenix
