As is my practice, stopped by on my way to an appointment to "beat" traffic and thought it would be easy to stop by and get a quick nine in. I guess because of the heat, it was not busy at all, so I was able to get right out and zipped around in less than an hour.

Not much changed since my last time here. About what I expected. Greens were just OK. plying off mats is easy, but not much fun. However knowing this going in, and given the modest green fee, not a big deal. Conditions were fair to good, about what you'd expect. Worth stopping and playing IF not crowded.

Out running some errands and decided to stop by here, having never played before and wanting to try out some irons I brought out of storage. Pro shop got me right out and charged me the unheard price of $6 :). Nice customer service. While the course plays off of mats, it still does not take away from the enjoyment of the 9 holes. A very nice compliment of holes, including 2 water holes. Course was empty and finished in just over an hour. Totally enjoyed the course and will stop again when the opportunity arises.

I had never played here before and decided to stop by on my way to Whittier Narrows. (Felt rather than fight traffic from the OC, left early to beat the traffic and insure no issues and used the extra time to play somewhere different)

I have to admit that for $7, it's well worth the $$. Other than a fivesome which I played through, the course was fairly empty, so took less than an hour to finish.

Not crazy about playing off mats, but that's what you get for seven bucks! The overall condition of the course was much better than I expected, greens rolled fairly true albeit a little on the slow side. Plenty of grass in the fairways. Not in any bunkers, but they looked OK.

Most of the holes are pretty bland, but I thought #6 and #8 were nice holes. It was a nice one time experience. Having lived in So Cal for almost 50 years, there are a bunch of these "short" courses I've never played, so I am trying to play them when it's convenient.

I played here this morning as a warm-up before the SCGA outing at Hacienda. For me, just a chance to check off a couple more short courses in the area. I booked a 7:30 "hot deal" time through GN that was a whopping $4 and also included a bucket of range balls! Outside of comp rounds, that is officially the cheapest round of golf I've ever had. Not too busy out this morning so I went off at 7:00, but I played behind a twosome much of the way and it took a little longer than hoped. Still only an hour for 9 holes.

The course was in OK shape. There are both mat and grass options on each tee box and different sets for front and back play. The grass tee boxes were always a few yards ahead of the mats and I use the term "grass" very loosely as they were very chewed up. Otherwise, the greens were slow, but pretty decent. The two short par-4 holes had pretty good grass coverage in the main landing areas. Otherwise, everything else pretty hit or miss. I wasn't in any bunkers, so no comments there.

This is an OK little track. Nothing too exciting, but super cheap, nice folks working there and reasonable layout for a quick warm-up round.

Played today at 7:00 am this morning, first time there. The course is a 9-hole chip and putt course, par 29 with two par four. You had to hit off of mats but the greens are in pretty good shape. Just a little slow for my taste. The driving range is only 220 at best. I like the course for the money I paid($8 with small bucket of range balls). I used Golfnow.

I had not been there in a while per it seemed non golfers were running the pro shop and it showed. Then I read and heard it has done a 360 since a new management company took over, and was I surprised we were greeted when we got there and the course was in great shape and for only being a 9 hole course you are still challenged a bit on the 3rd, 5th, and the 6th hole where if you do not get it on the green you have chip up a giant hill. And hole number 8 plays at a dog leg right at 263 yards with a good size pond stuck in between. All in all with the new people there including a real nice lady who made me a killer michilada and a way better course since my last visit I recommend this 9 hole to everyone who needs to get in a quick round.

The course is under new management and they have made some great changes so far. They have cut all the brush on the side of the hill that parallels hole 4, 5 and 6, they have done some nice work to the fairways and rough and have cleaned up around the greens. The greens are a little on the hard side but it seems they are working on that and they have added a few long sticks to practice chipping on one of the practice greens.

They have cleaned up the clutter in the club house and have put a fresh coat of paint on the inside and added a new finish on the patio floor with some new tables and chairs. New signs in the clubhouse with rates etc look great and a simple subtle washing of the windows makes the clubhouse look new.

There is talk that they want to add a another tee box to each hole, to make it so that you play 18, same hole just different tee box maybe off grass. This muni is worth the price and is very challenging. The Par Eight will challenge you! Friendly staff and course is maintained fairly well. Both my son and I learned to play this amazing game at Pico. Highly recommend this nine hole course.

This is a tore up little 9 hole spot. 2 par 4's, 7 par 3's. You tee off of dingy green mats. Lots of bare areas on fairway. Rough has some areas that are good, yet some are just dirt, and one area is a driveway. Some greens are a little messed up.
Might be a good place for a local who is learning the game, or else I'd recommend finding another spot to play.
