Played Lakewood on the 1st. The two things I always expect from Lakewood is long rounds and greens that get bumpy if you tee off after 8ish. Well both proved to be untrue this time.

I had the 1st tee time and the marshal was friendly and helped find our balls in the dark. Probably won't do that again. Wasted 3 holes due to darkness.

Played on 10/9. conditions are terrible. greens are bumpy and slow and lots of bare spots. fairways and rough have lots of bare spots. bunkers ok. 1 good thing hole #3 is open but green is nasty. not ... Continue »

greens are geting thin...a lot of ball marks and players not repairing them, a lot of mushy wet spots all over the course, sand traps were inconsistant..some nice some hard, some wet.

The greens were "cross cut"?...very bumpy and slow and soft...maybe a few more days or a week or so ...the course was crowded..almost 5 hours to play!
