Good city course...5hr round...a lot of walkers...greens in good condition, fast...They had sprinklers on a lot of fairways on a Sat. at 9:00am, had to run a play shots without getting wet.

Rancho is playing like days of old. Greens are quick and firm, fairways a bit too moist for my tast but green. Ruff is present but not to penal. This is the best I have played rancho in years!!!! $22 ... Continue »

This is the best I have played rancho in years!!!! $22 dollars is a steal for this course. Just remember to fix ball marks and replace your diviots with sod or sand. thanks

A great layout in the middle of the city! Rancho is an old, tried and true golf course that is currently enjoying some of the best conditions I've seen for it and for Los Angeles municipal courses in general. The greens are generally smooth and of an acceptable speed and the fairways are as great as they can be, given the fact that the grass is kikuyu. The rough needs work, but hey, for under 30 bucks I can't be too picky here.

The back nine, I think, has much more character than the front, and I'd love to play this course more often, but getting out on a weekend on the wait list is a joke - bnose and I showed up and were on the list by 6:20 and didn't get out until 8...if you show up past 6:30, I wish the best of luck to you...

It's a great track - I hope they keep the conditions on an upward trend.

This was my first time to the park. It was a fun time. The course was apparently in the best shape my parner has seen it, the green great fairways great. the staff friendly how could I complain. the course is very crowded but still played in under 5 hours. which is better than most courses around here. if you do not have a time be prepaired to wait. to get out to me it was worth the wait.

Played Rancho 6/26, beautiful day. Course is in pretty good shape. Greens had a very light coating of sand so were a bit slow but overall course in good condition. 5 hour round today.
