Played 11/01/2005, the greens were in superb condition. I give it a 9. The rough has been cut shorter so the ball finding was easier. The fairways were in very good condition. Played twilight two-some at 3:45pm. Finished 9 holes with time to spare. Paid $22 with cart (resident price).

Course was in beautiful shape, great condition for $45/weekend! Play was good pace at 5 hours. A gem not far from LA/South Bay.

Played 10/4 Greens are back to normal. Twilight now at 1:30 and a great deal 28 with cart.

I was reading all the feedback and seeing that most everybody had nothing but good things to say. I decided to try it out. Well, all I can say is that this was one of the best experiences that I have had at a public golf course! This course is great for the money and is in outstanding shape!!!! Also the personnel was very very helpful!! We ran into the marshall on #7 and I thought that since we were half a hole behind he was going give us a hard time (like most muni courses around here) but he stopped and gave us some tips on the course and even helped us look for the ball. If you get a chance get out and try this course!!!!

Played Wed 8/9, and course is in peak condition. With the possible exception of a few overly divoted tee boxes, this as good as I've seen Rio Hondo. Greens and fairways are sweet.

The staff here is great! Once the ball machine broke and they gave me a free large bucket. The Course is also challenging.I also like to have a unch break at the turn. It's definittly worth it.

Played 7/18/05 at 2:00. Beautiful day, course was is great shape. Greens held and rolled true. We played in 4 hours which is slow for Rio. This course is always fun and a challege to play.
