Played today and Tues. Course is well watered for the current heat wave. Too much for my liking but I understand.Tee boxes playable. Fairways good lies but you will find some areas that LCP are necessary due to water. Bunkers were all playable. No rakes on carts anymore. Golfers either never used them or left them on the course. Greens are good to some degree, especially the front. But several on the back (like # 15 which is going under again) need immediate aeration. Customer service excellent. OC virus rules still in effect. They say they are working on opening the restaurant soon with the new OC rules relating to restaurants. I still think $60 is to much for Sr rate. And they are not even giving a break to the Players Club members on rates at the moment? Ownership and American Golf should get on the same page.

Beautiful views on a tight, challenging course. Poor value when considering the price of this course and the condition of the greens, lots of unrepaired ballmarks and bumpy in spots. Fairways are thin but playable, tee boxes are beat up as well. Pace of play was surprisingly good.

Out again today. POP 3 H. Fairways in much better shape this morning. Cut and fresh. No tee issues. Bunkers were all clean and they provided players a rake on the cart and asked that you rake them after play (nice idea). Greens were hit/miss IMO. Some good and others in need of aeration (11,12,15) and quickly. Customer service excellent. Mask at check in and cart pick up. They even have a "mask area notice" on the GPS as a reminder when you enter required areas. Was told that restaurant is being prepared for opening ASAP as OC has removed some restaurant restrictions county wide. Agree with Weber. Sr rate is too high @ $60.

Nice to get back out at Coyote Hills, one of the fun courses to play. Staff is always super friendly and accommodating. Beautiful mild morning. Have to piggyback on Larry's recent reviews. Greens rolled well, fairways soft but since I played the shorter tees, didn't have as much of an affect as normal. Some soft spots, but nothing too severe. Bunkers were better than expected, better than most other courses.

Lots of fun holes here ! Nice visuals ! Not thrilled with the price increase from last year, but the senior rate is still doable.

Played this AM. POP 3 H. With the exception of the fairways, the course is in good shape. Fairways are not being cut at present (no doubt letting the grass grow back after heat wave) and were wet and long. Thus while the lies were good, you could get some wet and muddy spots for many shots. And virtually no roll out. Tee boxes fine. Greens good (with the exception of 15 again). And traps were all playable. Customer service excellent. OC virus restrictions still in place.

Fairways had good coverage, good roll and good lies all round. Greens though, putted slowly all round. They are showing the wear/tear of many rounds and summer heat. No doubt aeration is coming soon? Same virus restrictions as stated in previous review. Great customer service at all levels.

Out first this AM. POP 3 H. Course has dried out a lot. Less watering and many fairways had been punched (and healed) allowing water to drain. Tee boxes were a mix? Some were OK some needed repair and some were repaired and in great shape. Fairways today had decent roll in them and were providing good lies all round. Even the traps were ready to go for those of us out early and heard no complaints. Very little rough outside of fairways and around the greens. You always have the OB areas, small canyons and water to deal with regardless of how high/low the rough might be. All the greens were in good shape. Held shots, chipped/putted with decent speed all round. Customer service excellent at all levels. OC virus rules still in effect regarding masks and carts.

Played CH this week with my neighborhood group and had a 9:12 tee time. The course was busy but we still go off on time. Always the best of customer service when we check in. We preferred to get single carts and the young man in the club house said no problem – “we have plenty of carts available” says he. Great and off we went. POP was 4 hours and we waited on a slower group ahead but was not a problem. For some reason the marshal told the group ahead to pick it up which wasn’t necessary but interesting enough, they complained that we hit into them. Well that never happened but we dialed it back a notch anyway so as not to pressure them.

Not much different since the last time I played her it but seems like the fairways are a bit dryer than before. Some tight lies out there. Not very thick rough which is always nice. Bunkers were in real good shape despite not having rakes.

Greens were in good shape. A bit damp and easily holding shots. Not very fast but they rolled smooth.

This isn’t one of my favorite places to play but I seem to be playing it more lately. I usually play the gold tees and play well for some reason. Keep it the fairways and you should score well. Not in the fairway, you’re dropping a ball for your penalty shot. I know a lot of people who love playing here and do so regularly. I would definitely recommend.

Played this AM in 3 H. Tee boxes all fine. Fairways were mixed as to being wet/dry. And of course those that were dry had good roll out. Rough was playable and of course you have various OB, creeks and water to contend with. Traps were playable as I was in 2. Greens were damp, as they were watering ahead of us, due to anticipated heat. So the greens varied in speed of chipping, putting and holding shots. Not ideal, as you were unable to find any consistency. Customer service excellent at all levels. Still virus cautions on masks (check in/cart pick up) and no food other than snack bar.
