Walked on at about 1pm on Tuesday as a single. I had the course to myself until hole 3 when I bumped into a very slow twosome who wouldn't let me play through. I finally got past them at hole 7 where I paired up with a threesome and had a great POP the rest of the round. The fairways and rough are due to be trimmed. The greens were fast and firm. Overall, the course is in good shape for this time of year.

I have played this course for several years. Several greens seem to be damaged by improper mowing. But the worst problem is water standing and mud in many fairways. Someone is not managing the watering program well. I will stay away for awhile and hope management pays more attention to maintenance of the course.

Stopped in today coming back from OC. The greens have been aerated yesterday/today and it was noted on GK as well as low price email sent on Monday. Other than the greens the rest of the course was fine. Good tee boxes; fairways clean and rolling with good lies; rough is penal if you are in it and bunkers looking in good shape. There were areas on the course in the fairways that were over watered and causing problems with cart drivers. And they really need a marshal (especially on # 7). Pace of play could have been much faster with one and please stop with all the twosomes? Put out foursomes to speed up play, PLEASE.

we have played here a couple of times now and its surprisingly good .The course is not difficult but the greens have a few tricks to them. The staff has been nice and everything is well kept. Its close to the beach so we have had a nice breeze both rounds I feel this is a good summer course and the fact it isnt to crowded and they let out fives is cool. If you like long courses this isnt your spot but it has our respect

I'm in Anaheim for the weekend while my wife is at a conference so i got to get some rounds in here. I played Meadowlark on 3/14 and found it to be in great shape. The course was pretty busy and the POP was right at about 5 hours. The tee boxes are in decent shape for the amount of play the course receives. The fairways are lush (they were being trimmed throughout the day, and the maintenance crew worked around the golfers very well) and there were very few bare spots. The rough was also being trimmed so it was severely penalizing in some areas and quite playable in others. The greens were nice, rolled very true, but like any course that gets heavy traffic there were some divots that needed to be touched up. We saw the cart girl 4 times during our round and the ranger a few times. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. This is a short course yardage wise, but what it lacks in length it makes up for in teeth. It is a great mix of risk/reward challenges that will bury you if you make unwise shot choices. I am a 20 Handicap and I loved this course. I will make Meadowlark a stop on my next trip out here!

9:30 tee time on a Wednesday. Started on time, fivesome ahead of us, POP 4-3/4 hours. Course is in very nice shape for amount of play it gets. Greens a bit bumpy but well maintained. Tee boxes are small and well-used but acceptably level. A few muddy spots off the fairway and rough in those areas is quite thick. Would definitely play again.

The bad: Tee time was 8:52, finally got out a bit after 9:30. Finished right after 3:00. Just wrong, really unacceptable. No marshal on the course to assist with pace. Condition-wise, the course is a mud pit right now. Cart path only. Tee boxes were mostly level. Fairways were lush but soggy and muddy. Rough was the same. Was in one bunker, it was fine, no complaints there. Greens were soft, slow and pretty bumpy.

Haven't played here in a while, the price seemed right at the time. However, since they just jam-pack the tee sheet, and with such marginal conditions, I have to remove this course from my radar once again. To management: At the very least, do SOMETHING about the pace of play. Please.

Played yesterday with a buddy and another group of two. There were a couple tees where we had to wait but still got through fairly quick. 18 green was worked on recently. Fairways were good, rough had a few mud spots. Tee boxes were pretty good, a few tough pin positions. Booked on golf now and paid $30 with a cart. good course to go to when its all said and done.

Played an afternoon round with a friend of mine trying to escape the inland heat. Course was very busy for a Monday and a couple bottle necks that started on #4 and let up on #13. Course was in OK shape with the greens in good shape and what really is the tough thing in playing this course. The greens on 12 and 13 are crazy and really need to land the ball in the right place. There is a great early twilight special that makes it worth the green fee. POP was a little over 4.5 hours but was no problem with the cool breezes.
