Classic has way faster greens then the players course. Long holes and large greens. Pace of play is usually 4 1/2 - 5 hrs. Not bad.

Played 6/11/08 3:00 TW. pace of play was good. Teebox, faiway, sand and green were in good shape. No complaints. No marshall or cartgirl though. Pretty long par 4's #6,7,8(3),11,17!. I had to hit a lot of 5 and 6 irons on my approach. 71.5 rating feels like a 73 to me. Will be back.

Both 9s open again. They recently completed upgrades to the irrigation system. The dead spots in the fairways have grown in nicely. Overall the course is in good shape. The greens are a bit firm and roll on the medium/slow side but fairly smooth. The course has no surprises tee to green. The greens are fairly challenging. The price is a little on the high side but worth playing.

greens are in pretty good condition...they roll smooth, for one...not much ball mark damage i could see...also, they were very soft (maybe because of all the rain)...even 40-60 pitch shots left ball marks...yet, they were not slow, either...medium speed

my main complaint about this course is the grass on the fairways and rough...the grass cover is not the best...every hole has brown patches and/or dead patches and/or bare spots...and they have two different types of grass growing out there two, one of them being that d%mn kikuyu that i hate....

I was able to get out for a round of golf on the Classic course for the fourth of July. Overall the course is in pretty good shape from the tee box all the way to the green. I felt that the green fee of $47 was fair, considering that it is Orange County.

I would definately recommend the Classic course for anyone looking for a relatively cheap green fee for the area on a course that is in decent shape. The course did play slow though, which I was anticipating (roughly 5 hours and 15 minutes).

Maybe the Player Course is a better one to play on (as you will be paying more)

Enjoyed my game. Some very testing holes. Fairways are cut too short thus many bare spots. Fair value for the money.

Played Miles Square for the first time. Today we played in very windy conditions. This condition caused the greens to be slower than usual due to the dryness. The fairways, generally, require one to hit straight shots. There are a number of water hazards which can be avoided by playing the wind conditions. The bunker layout at some holes are placed to to catch your ball. The sand was dry and made coming out fairly easy. With one hole exception, the trees are small and should cause little distraction. The course was lightly used today and played fairly quickly. It is a nice course with a relatively new clubhouse.
