Played on Thanksgiving day. Oak Creek is at its best in recent years. Greens are amazing and roll true. They are fast but receptive. Prolonged face lifting to Bermuda grass as you would see in Pelican Hill GC is finally paid off. I was able to find a cheap deal via C4TT, and paid $94 at 930 am. Great day of golf, no question.

Played a charity event at this golf course on Mon 9/20. A challenging golf course for all skill levels. Golf course requires different shots at each hole. Greens were okay but a bit too slow for the price. Fairways were good. Many tee boxes were not level. The next day they were going to punch the greens so got lucky to play this golf course before maintenance. Will come back.

Played on Sun. 8/29/10. Tee time 7am, teed off right on time. We finished at 11:20. The pace of play was just right. Never waited and was not pushed. This was my first time here and i was very happy with what I saw of the course, my game however was not so good. The fairways were in very good shape. The rough had just been overseeded, and it was still long and brutal. Good luck finding a ball in the 2nd cut. The greens were in very good shape and med/fast. A few holes looked the same, but there was enough variety to keep it interesting.
Now for some not so good things. You think range balls would be included in a green fee of $150.00 ( i paid $120 online). It was $11.00 for a small bag. No gps on the carts, but the sprinkler heads were well marked. Also the burnt pancakes were a bit on the dry side.
I will definatley go back, once I straighten out my driver.

Played supertwilight Wednesday, July 28, on a warm sunny day with light breezes. Went off the back as the course was fairly busy, but moved along OK. Greens were receptive and rolled well, some dry lies in fairways where the ball would sit down. Traps in good shape, rough can be thick and swallow balls. Even saw the cart girl once. Still recommended for Twi or Supertwi.

This is a fun course in great condition. The rough is brutal. I had 4 penalties because I simply couldn't find my ball. I knew the relatively well where the ball entered and simply couldn't find the ball. If you stay in the fairway, which are decent sized, the course is pretty forgiving. I had a great time and look forward to playing it again.

Played in 4some for front 9. 2 guys were scratch, playing black tees. Me and other guy playing golds. Pace worked out OK for awhile. Then my partner quit after 9 holes. Other 2 left me in the dust on back 9. One of them was to play in amateur tournament here next day. They played through a 4some still on the tee box at no. 12, par 3, without telling me what they were doing. I figured it out, teed off, then chipped on after short tee shot. As I walked to green they were already putting out and heading to next tee box. Sorry to hold you guys up! Following foursome joked to me, "Hurry up," as I ran back to my cart after my quick 2-putt. Tried to keep pace, but couldn't, so called it a day after no. 14. Next time will ask starter to not put me as higher handicapper with par golfers who won't show courtesy to us average Joes in their group.

Played 2/28/10. I really like this course. Clubhouse service were great. However, the condition of the fairways here has degraded over the past year or so to worse than what you see at a lot of muni's. Tee boxes, greens, and traps are all just fine, but condition of the fairways is pitiful for a course that charges as much as they do.
