This course is severely under rated at 3.8, in the 7-8 range when I played the resort on Sunday 12/22. Found a great rate here on-line and were paired with two ladies from the ladies club, they were a joy, played with a great pace and could actually play.
T's, fairways, rough and sand were all in very good shape. The greens lagged just behind, with many old dead spots, but still managed to be quick and roll true.
I was thrilled with the pace, 4 hours, during the holidays!
The ladies told us the Legend course was effected by the summer rain storms, I don't really care for that course anyways. the Resort course was hardly effected, with only the first couple holes, mostly left and off the fairways.

7/22/13 4pm start. $20 Golf Now. Sweaty humid hot. Course was pretty beat up. Very fast round of just over 3 hours. Honestly wouldn't consider it again as for this time of year there are so many tracks to play in this area for under $40 this isn't in the running. The only thing I'll say as that the overall poor maintenence may have been affected by thunderstorms the 2 previous days. I encountered shaggy greens, grown over cups, long shaggy fairways and lots of bare spots. Bunkers were unplayable. The staff was friendly however and the practice facility is grass with plenty to shoot at.

Enjoyed a p.m. round with GKer RGM2525, our 2nd round of the day on a great golf now deal of $11 including a cart. We played the green tees (6705/71.8/125) in about 3 hours. The greens were partially bermuda and partially winter rye & were medium slow to slow, usually bumpy, occasionally smooth. Traps were in good condition with nice fluffy, white sand. The tees were generally well maintained. Both the fairways & rough were decent, usually a good lie, occasionally a thin lie. 1st time playing here, this is a better course than their sister Legends course in my opinion. The $11 made the round well worth it even though the temp was in the low hundreds. Customer service was a plus. I liked the layout and would definitely come back.

Ah pre-winter golf in Palm Springs... Immaculate conditions and still pre-snowbird pricing! Never played here before. Course is in perfect shape and probably the most level tee boxes I've ever been on. Semi-narrow track with enough twists and lakes to keep you honest. Greens are medium to small. Looked like a really good bar scene for Sunday football but I didn't go in. I can't say I loved it, but I don't know why. I would play again. Greens were REALLY slow for some reason, but the greenskeeping is flawless. No GPS on cart but did have ice chest. Very nice ladies at check in, starter and cart girl who came by frequently.

Played Memorial Day weekend (Saturday) morning at 6:08am tee time. The course was pretty quiet and empty which was good for us. Their special was free breakfast/lunch and two drinks. The breakfast buffet (chicken fried steak/gravy, toast, eggs, bacon, sausage) didn't start until 6am but a couple of us got in a few bites before teeing off. When I called for reservation, the pro shop said the Resort course was shorter but wider. The front nine was pretty narrow I thought but the back nine was decent. Overall, the course played well and we found the undulating/multi-tiered greens challenging. I'll play here again. The three of us finished in less than four hours. We walked in to the cafe just before 10am and the waitress said the lunch buffet doesn't start until 11am (bummer) so we had our drinks and left.

Drove out to play with some friends and had a great time. Birdie on the last hole to shoot 80. Greens are fast and true, but the tee boxes and fairways looked like they had not been cut. Went out at 7:24 and in my car and on my way home by 11:15! Fast and fun round.

Played in Sunday pigskins game. Course coming out off overseeding, not perfect but good. Greens firm and fast and very small for Palm Springs area. Not the best in area, but most definitly the best deal by far in the area!! Free Beer, Pro V's, Food. What more could you ask for?

played 10-19-11........first time playing any golf course in palm desert area.......hope it gets better then this.......90$ cart path only? really?....course was in good shape, except the bunkers were hard as a rock, or they had actual rocks in them......you could walk right across most of them and not even leave a mark.....just don't think the course is anyway near worth paying 90$ during the week.......won't ever play there again unless i can get a better deal.

played on 7-2. Second round of the day(desert dunes first). Got out alittle before 4pm. Not many people on the course due to being one of the hottest days this year. Temps were 117 degrees when i arrive to the golf course. Went out as a single. Finish the round in 1 hour and 15 mins. Conditions of the course were okay. Greens were my only complaints. They were really bumpy and slow. They aerated the course about two weeks ago so thats understandable. First time playing the resort side of the tahquitz creek and wasnt that impressed. Didnt see a cart girl today, but they give you two free drink tickets in the beginning of the round. Decent course, but better options in the palm springs area
