This course takes you out and back. Seeing the water park nearby made want to drive the cart over there and take a splash. The course is not difficult. The many mounds make for some blind shots and side-hiller lies. The par 3's although not long are somewhat tough. The course is in good shape, nothing wrong, but nothing great either. I will play the Legend course on Monday. I will be the ball.

Played Sunday 3/20. Fairways and Greens and actually entire golf course was in good condition except bunkers. Bunkers were wet and compacted. Other than that everything was OK. Fun to play. Course was packed but pace of play was 4 hours and 15 minutes.

Paid $25 to play the Resort Course early Saturday morning with Desert Resident Card. Included 2 free draft beers...what a deal! For this time of year this track is in excellent condition. Fairways and Greens are in great shape and I always enjoy the layout of the Resort course. My only gripes are that some of the tee boxes aren't level and that the traps are hard dirt/sand and tough to escape from. All of the staff were friendly...Starter Lady was friendly, the cartgirl had nice legs and the cart guy did a good job on my clubs. AND the draft beer was COLD! I recommend the Resort course over the Legend course...pay the extra $ and play the better of the 2 tracks.

Good deal for the Palm Springs area especially W/ lunch included. Although It was good it looked strangely familiar to a airflight meal. Maybe they buy the extra from the airport due to slow traffic. Will play again as it is a good test of golf, tight fairways + small greens, and a beautiful setting. Only gripe is very unlevel Tee boxes!!!

Played Nov. 21, got internet rate of $59 (incl. a buffet type lunch) and cart. I've played this course many times, usually the first day I/we arrive. It is a decent, very busy public course so expect 4 1/2 + hours for round. Although the pro shop staff are helpful, and nice, the starters (and there are usually 4) tend to be a bit draconian. The course was in very good shape, we teed off at 1158 and finished at exactly 428 pm so the day we played, a Saturday the course moved along ok, however as mentioned it is public (civic? ) course so expect all types of players. It is a good "starting" course, usually wide enough fairways, and generally accessible greens with some well placed bunkers and with very little searching you can get a good rate on their website.

I live just a couple of miles away from Tahquitz Creek and the "Resort" course is one of my favorites in the Palm Springs area for the price. The layout is as good as many of the more expensive tracks and it has beautful views of the San Jacinto Mountains. This course is generally kept in good condition...the greens today were well below average because of recent punching/sanding.

If you want to play a well maintained course with an interesting layout that doesn't beat you up too badly and is reasonably priced, I recommend a round the "Resort" course.
